Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will accurately transcribe audio recordings into written form, paying close attention to details to ensure clarity and faithfulness to the original content.
Responsibilities
- Transcribing and accurately translating audio recordings into written form with great attention to detail
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team of writers and editors to produce high-quality editorial content for publication
- Communicating effectively with team members regarding transcription requirements
- Ensuring that transcripts are presented in a timely manner
- Participating in comprehensive reviews of transcribed content to ensure it meets publication standards
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion, especially for sensitive or confidential content
- Adhering to the company's style guide to ensure uniformity in writing style, formatting, and tone across all content.
Person Specification
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Transcriber or similar role, preferably in publishing.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- They will also work closely with writers, designers, and stakeholders to uphold editorial standards and enhance content quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews and edits of content before publication to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop and refine content ideas, angles, and storytelling approaches
- Fact-check content to verify the accuracy of the information and ensure credibility.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve the quality of their content
- Prioritise editorial tasks and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Work with the content team to develop long-term content strategies that align with the company's objectives and target audience
- Maintain and update the company's style guide to ensure consistency in writing style, formatting, and tone across all content.

3.) Management Accountant
Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Management Accountant.
- The role holder will be responsible for analysing key financial information to provide insights that will aid in managerial planning and commercial decision-making, ensuring the future growth and profitability of the school.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial plans
- Analysing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Preparing monthly management reports, tracking financial performance against budget
- Analysing and advising on the school's current and future expenditures for maximum ROI and project performance
- Developing, proposing, and implementing school-wide plans to reduce financial risks and lower costs
- Ensuring accurate records of all payments and maintaining the debtor’s register
- Performing month-end accounting, including reconciliations and journals
- Conducting variance analysis comparing actual results to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre
- Analysing trends and financial performance across business units/schools/departments
- Proactively liaising with other departments and participating in systems and process improvement initiatives
- Participating in project audits
Person Specification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a management accountant, or related accounting experience
- Proficiency in using accounting software e.g. Sage
- SIMS and FMS experience will be an added advantage
- Experience in the education sector is preferred
- Strong knowledge of knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
