1.) Front Desk Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary


  • The Admin Officer / Social Media Manager will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient reception experience.
  • The role will also provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the MD/Admin Manager, relieve the EA in her absence, manage office supplies and work tools, and create engaging social media content to enhance the company’s online presence.
  • The ideal candidate must be versatile, well-spoken, organized, and creative, with a strong background in administration and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring prompt redirection or follow-up.
  • Keep accurate records of visitor logs and deliveries.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the EA to the MD and Admin Manager.
  • Relieve the EA in her absence by helping coordinate the MD’s calendar, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, memos, and presentations as required.
  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and internal activities.
  • Support general office operations including filing, photocopying, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies, stationery, and work tools.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely supply and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Ensure proper functionality of front-desk work tools and escalate issues promptly.
  • Support facility-related tasks such as coordinating repairs and ensuring the office environment remains conducive.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content across the company’s social media platforms.
  • Develop engaging posts, captions, and campaigns aligned with the brand’s tone and direction.
  • Monitor online engagement, respond to inquiries, and track performance metrics.
  • Suggest ideas for improving brand visibility and online reputation.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in front desk administration, office management, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience managing social media accounts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with basic content creation skills (graphics, captions, short videos).

2.) Internal Control Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for evaluating, strengthening, and monitoring the company’s internal control framework to ensure operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and regulatory compliance within the maritime sector.
  • The ideal candidate is a professional accountant with a strong audit background from a Big 4 firm and hands-on experience assessing risks and controls in complex, fast-paced operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and implement internal control policies, procedures, and SOPs tailored to maritime business operations (vessel operations, logistics, port activities, crewing, procurement, etc.).
  • Assess the adequacy, effectiveness, and compliance of internal controls across departments.
  • Conduct periodic internal control testing and report control weaknesses with actionable remediation plans.
  • Ensure proper segregation of duties in operational and financial processes relating to vessel operations, fuel management, maintenance, chartering, and invoicing.
  • Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks specific to maritime operations, including offshore services and port-related activities.
  • Maintain a risk register and coordinate with department heads to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor regulatory changes in maritime operations, safety, procurement, and financial reporting, ensuring company-wide adherence.
  • Perform internal audits and spot checks on key financial and operational processes, including voyage expenses, vendor management, inventory, and crew payroll.
  • Prepare detailed audit and internal control reports for management review.
  • Support external auditors by providing accurate documentation and explanations.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, minimize leakages, and ensure compliance within shipping, port operations, and marine logistics.
  • Support the automation and digitalization of internal processes such as documentation control, voyage management, procurement workflow, and fleet operations.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on internal controls, compliance, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) required.
  • Experience in the maritime, logistics, offshore, or oil & gas sector is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO, SOX principles).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong ethical standards.

3.) Lounge Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Lounge Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lounge, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing staff performance, and maintaining high service standards.
  • The ideal candidate has at least five (5) years of experience in hospitality or lounge management, with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service orientation, and a proven ability to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day lounge activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Implement and enforce service standards, operating procedures, and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor lounge ambiance, cleanliness, and facility maintenance in line with brand standards.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, beverages, and amenities; coordinate timely restocking.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional service and resolve inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly.
  • Implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and collect regular feedback.
