We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) QA Tester / QA Engineer (IT Space)

Job Location: Lagos (Fully Remote)
Employment Type: Contract (One-month Contract)

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for both frontend and backend components.
• Verify data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across ingestion, processing, storage, and reporting layers.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Conduct API testing for backend services (REST/GraphQL) to ensure reliability and data correctness.
• Validate UI workflows, ensuring smooth user interaction and accurate representation of backend data.
• Identify, log, and track defects through their lifecycle, and provide clear documentation for debugging.
• Implement automated tests where appropriate (UI, API, and data validation)
• Perform performance and load testing on key data workflows and system endpoints.
• Support release validation by conducting regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Requirements

Requirements

• (3–5+ years) in software QA or test engineering.
• Strong background in testing data-intensive applications, ETL processes, or analytics/reporting platforms.
• Proficiency with SQL (queries, joins, aggregations) to validate data integrity across databases.
• Experience testing REST APIs (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Karate, etc.).
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong understanding of data validation techniques and business rule testing.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).

Skills:

• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Superset).
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Exposure to performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
• Experience with data governance and quality frameworks.

2.) Java (Spring Boot) Engineer

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Reponsibilities

• Build Java-based ETL and ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load source systems.
• Extracting data from source systems.
• Cleaning and transforming the data for analytics.
• Loading it efficiently into a ClickHouse data warehouse.
• Structure data pipelines using ELT principles.
• Develop efficient, well-tested, and reusable Java (Spring Boot) backend services along with other development team members to query, organize, and expose processed data through Spring Boot APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend and analytics teams to ensure the data layer supports dashboard visualizations and alerts
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end and mobile app engineer.
• Collaborate with other team members in brainstorming sessions to define, design, test, and ship application features.
• Identify, correct bottlenecks and fix bugs on new and existing applications.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
• 3 - 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong experience with Java, especially in Spring Boot for service development.
• Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with data integration.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and analytical querying.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and integrating external systems.
• Comfortable with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices.

Nice-to-Have / Big Advantage:

• Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills.
• Exposure to predictive modeling with Python is a big advantage.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse or other columnar databases.
• AWS/cloud deployment experience.

3.) Live-in House Help

Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to remove dirt, debris, and dust from floors and other surfaces.
• Washing windows and walls, as well as polishing woodwork as needed.
• Scrubbing toilets, showers, baths, and bathroom sinks as well as removing mildew buildup and mold from various surfaces.
• Wiping down kitchen appliances, equipment, and counters to remove dirt, grease, and grime.
• Regularly empty wastebaskets and dispose of all rubbish.
• Washing, drying, and folding bedding and towels.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all cleaning tasks completed each day.
• Laundering clothing as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of Primary School Certificate and SSCE.
• 1- 2 years of house helping experience.
• Sound knowledge of different cleaning methods.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision.
• The ability to multitask.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
