1.) Assistant HR Business Partner

About the Job
- Working with the HR Business Partner, the role provides support in the delivery of the HR agenda to the business.
- This includes preparing analysis and materials for HR processes e.g. FRC, annual salary review, supporting line managers and acting as assigned Business Partner to certain groups
What you'll be doing
- Support the implementation of the annual agenda for HR Strategy in line with the functional plan.
- Support the Plant HRBP in the recruitment of non-cadre staff.
- Maintain the personnel administration/records for the site, ensuring on-time delivery, accuracy of information provided and legal compliance (especially for annual social statements, and individual contracts).
- Support the development and continuous improvement of HR systems and policies in line with best practices.
- Work with the Head of HR Industrial and Plant HRBP to identify opportunities and areas of improvement to support improved organisational and people performance.
- Coach and equip supervisors to effectively manage their people in line with people plans e.g. performance management
- Support production of HR data reporting and analysis to satisfy routine and ad-hoc organisational requirements
- Working with the Head of HR, Industrial/IR, manage employee and industrial relations for the plant and provide support and guidance to the Plant HRBP.
- Manage the interface with relevant statutory bodies and trade associations in the locality as agreed with the Plant HRBP in conjunction with the Head of HR Industrial/IR.
- Support the Plant HRBP in the deployment of policies for effective employee / industrial relations management across the plant.
- Support the Plant HRBP on employee and industrial relations issues to ensure a peaceful industrial atmosphere.
- Liaising with the Head of HR Industrial/IR, support Plant HRBP in resolving industrial relations crisis in the plant.
- Provide necessary support for the Plant HRBP during salary negotiations.
- Under the direction of the Plant, HRBP manages projects as required.
- Monitor the social climate in the plant and provide regular feedback to the Plant HRBP and Head of HR Industrial/IR.
- Collaborate with and support other roles within the O & HR function as required.

2.) Demand Planning & Insight Manager

About the Role
- This job holder is responsible for driving the continuous improvement in the demand planning and forecasting processes across the regions and strengthen the capability of the demand planning community to deliver standards of excellence through standardized ways of working, processes, templates and data analysis.
- S/He will also coordinate the Commercial Insights workstream to unlock category insights and drive continuous development throughout all trade channels and Consumer segments; supports the Pricing & Margin Manager in competitive insights relating to sales and value chain prices.
- S/He is also expected to assess the Demand Reporting (forecast and Actual) vs. standard metrics to underscore LAP's core ambition of value generation and growth.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the Commercial Demand Planning process and maintain a consistently strong S&OP Compliance amongst all Commercial stakeholders
- Liaises with the Production and Logistics planning team to achieve a seamless and efficient end to end S&OP
- Single Point of Contact for all data analysis relating to the cement supply/capacities, Demand Planning and Cement Industry Insights including obtaining access to all Commercial & Market Information.
- Manage and leverage the demand planning tools (DPT) and systems across the business to create and review statistical and promo forecast by gathering, analysing and validating the data.
- Measure, analyse and communicate the key metrics and monitor adherence with the respective stakeholders.
- Ensures demand forecast is shared with the right details and timing internally with the supply chain partners with the assumptions, risks and opportunities.
- Prepares KPIs reviews (weekly, monthly), identify gaps and support the markets with root cause analysis and actions to fix.
- Drives >95% Sales forecast Accuracy Lag1 and ≥80% Lag3 to deliver value generation and volume growth ambitions vs. key business metrics
- Supports the Pricing and Margin Manager to develop insights and reports.
- Supports the Pricing Manager with operational data and insights to develop contexts into the monthly PCOMM meetings.
- Supports topline commercial managers with data and insights to drive strategic plans
- Contributes to strategy development across units
- Full participation/contribution into the annual Budget/MTP process
- Supports the Field Sales Team with required analysis to improve insight generation from Market Updates and Market Visit Reports
- Collaborates with other Commercial functions, Logistics and Industrial Planning and Commercial Data Teams to improve Commercial deliverables into the S&OP Process.
- Makes recommendations to improve the demand planning and S&OP processes.

What we are loking for
- 5 – 7 years of experience in Sales & Marketing with about 3years in Analytical and Data management role
- Multi-sector and or multi industry experience will be added advantage.
- Prior Data Analysis Experience.
- Understands what’s behind automation and entailed in building and reporting aspects of analytics.
- LOGON, QLIKVIEW, SAP and other ERP reports for generating Insights.
- Knowledge of managing data from multiple sources, build dashboards and report to various levels (strategic, tactical & operational).
- Good story-telling capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of market dynamics, Consumer, Product and Competition.

3.) Electrical Inspector

About the Job
- The Electrical Inspector primary objective is to coordinate and control execution of inspections, analyze all process and auxiliary equipment so that the condition of each piece of equipment can be monitored and maintained at a high level of operating performance.
What you'll be doing
- The Inspector communicates regularly with the operations personnel to gain information on any problems or concerns they may have about the equipment and the way it is affecting the process.
- The incumbent also analyses situations to determine whether it is a mechanical, electrical or operating problem and recommends solutions to correctly utilize all resources available.
- Studies equipment problems and recommends modi fi cations or replacements of it.
- Investigates repetitive problems and initiates corrective maintenance procedures.
- Continually informs Production, Process and Maintenance of the operating condition of equipment and advises those responsible when a piece of equipment should be shut down in order to prevent damage to said equipment or injury to any of the plant personnel.
- The incumbent will ensure compliance with safety practices and procedures, availability of safety equipment and that first aid treatm ent is provided when required.
- The incumbent is responsible and should have data pertaining to reliability so that he can analyze, and advise departments on the information needed to perform RCFA (i.e. vibrations, temperatures, hours, causes, Pareto charts etc.)
- Ensures that there has been a work order entered in CMMS to cover adjustments or repairs to equipment, checks for the proper equipment number, adequate description of the request, appropriate priority code and workshop or plant code.
- Administers a Thermo graphic Analysis Program for all critical pieces of electrical equipment and reports results to all concerned including recommendations when required.
- Preparation of the daily work schedule for the PPM tasks in accordance with equipment needs while utilizing CMMS to document and monitor equipment history files
- The incumbent participates in the administration of a Plant Lubrication Program with a conscious effort to reduce any undesirable impact on our environment
- Assist in the planning of system atic overhauls of major equipment.
- Participate in the Maintenance Supervisor On Call Program
- Record all temperatures, pressures and any relevant information, which may be used for analysis from CCR.
- The incumbent is also the plant person in charge of the Electrical integrity of the plant’s machinery.
- Comply with EMS Methods Instrumentation activities
- Ensure involvement in the implementation and maintenance of integrated management system in the plant
- Systematic inspection and data recording of all plant equipment with follow up to appropriate people.
- Preparation of the daily work schedule for the PPM tasks in accordance with equipment needs while utilizing CMMS to document and monitor equipment history files.
- Administers a Thermo graphic Analysis Program for all critical pieces of electrical equipments and reports results to all concerned including recommendations when required.
- Carry out specific and precise duties e.g. Basic NDT inspections
- Record all temperatures, pressures and any relevant information, which may be used for analysis from CCR.
What we are looking for
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma(OND) in Electrical Engineering or 5 years of work experience in Cement manufacturing. Computer literacy is essential.
- For good job performance, good communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, resistance to stress and ability to lead employees is required
