1.) Sous Chef

Job Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview


  • The Sous Chef plays a key role in supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day management of kitchen operations. This position ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes, maintains operational efficiency, and upholds strict standards of hygiene, food safety, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen activities and supervising staff.
  • Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain and enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Coordinate mise en place and ensure smooth, timely service execution.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen team members.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock control, rotation, and waste minimization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of consistency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Education Diploma or equivalent; culinary school training or certification is a plus.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a health-focused or similar culinary environment.
  • Strong knowledge of nutritional cooking principles, dietary requirements, and ingredient substitutions.
  • Culinary certification or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Creative approach to menu development with a genuine passion for healthy cuisine and overall wellness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen setting while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Solid understanding of kitchen equipment, tools, and professional cooking techniques.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

2.) Inventory Officer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Inventory Officer is responsible for overseeing and controlling inventory levels to support smooth and efficient food and beverage operations.
  • The role ensures accurate stock documentation, appropriate storage practices, timely replenishment, and strict adherence to food safety and quality standards, while minimizing waste, losses, and operational disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for food items, beverages, raw materials, and packaging
  • Receive, inspect, and validate incoming goods against approved purchase orders and delivery documentation
  • Ensure correct storage, handling, and stock rotation in accordance with FIFO/FEFO principles and food safety guidelines
  • Monitor stock movement and consumption to prevent shortages, excess stock, spoilage, or loss
  • Perform routine stock counts, reconciliations, and internal audits
  • Collaborate with purchasing, kitchen, production, and operations teams to forecast and plan inventory requirements
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports, variance analyses, and usage summaries for management review
  • Track expiration dates and assess the quality of perishable products

Responsibilities:

  • Reorder point compliance rate ≥ 95%

Waste, Loss & Shrinkage Control

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor spoilage, damage, and pilferage

  • Inventory shrinkage ≤ 1%of total stock value
  • Expired or spoiled items ≤ 0.5%of total inventory
  • FIFO/FEFO compliance rate 100%

Receiving & Storage Compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect received goods for quantity, quality, and documentation
  • Ensure proper storage conditions and hygiene standards

  • Receiving discrepancies ≤ 2%
  • Zero critical food safety non-compliance incidents
  • Storage temperature and hygiene compliance rate 100%

Reporting & Documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare inventory reports, variance analyses, and consumption summaries
  • Support audits and management reviews

KPIs:

  • Timely submission of inventory reports (100% on schedule)
  • Audit findings resolved within agreed timelines
  • Management report accuracy rate ≥ 98%

Cost Control & Efficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Support cost-saving initiatives through efficient inventory management
  • Identify slow-moving and obsolete stock

KPIs:

  • Reduction in inventory holding costs (target set annually)
  • Value of obsolete/slow-moving stock reduced by 10%per quarter
  • Inventory turnover ratio meets or exceeds target

Cross-Functional Coordination

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with kitchen, production, purchasing, and operations teams
  • Communicate inventory risks and requirements proactively

KPIs:

  • Zero production or service delays caused by inventory failure

Compliance & Audit Readiness

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, food safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management, preferably within food and beverage, hospitality, or manufacturing sectors
  • Solid knowledge of food safety standards, storage practices, and inventory control systems
  • Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

3.) Driver

Job Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)

Purpose Statement

  • We are seeking a competent and motivated Corporate Driver to provide safe, dependable, and efficient transportation for company executives, employees, clients and goods.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping company vehicles in excellent condition, complying with all traffic laws, and offering support for administrative and logistical tasks as needed.

Main Duties and Functions

  • Safely and punctually transport company executives, staff, and visitors to assigned destinations.
  • Ensure that company vehicles are always clean, well-maintained, and serviced as scheduled.
  • Comply with all traffic regulations, road safety standards, and company driving policies.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of company materials, equipment, or documents as needed.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues or concerns.
  • Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, especially when handling executive-level or sensitive matters.
  • Perform general office errands, including banking, courier deliveries, and document dispatch.
