We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Analyst, SIM Registration

Job Summary


  • Assist in managing the day to day running of the subscriber registration operations in HQ and Regions

Principal Functions

  • Ensure implementation of processes and procedures guiding activities of SIM Registration Officers (SROs) in all the regions to ensure delivery on set subscriber registration targets
  • Assist Manager, Subscriber Acquisition to manage all  SIM Registration activities in assigned Region
  • Track, audit and visit Trade and SIM Registration outlets and hot-spots
  • Prepare and ensure timely delivery of all reports required from SIM Registration outlets in the country for the attention of Manager, Subscriber Acquisition
  • Gather information on competition activities in SIM Registration and collate information for attention of HQ team
  • Provide and co-ordinate first-line systems support for SIM Registration issues escalated to the HQ
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of all SIM Registration-related issues from any region
  • Receive and process all submission from the regions on agent and device profiling/account creation for device activation
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Subscriber Acquisition .

Educational Requirements

  • First Degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.

Experience, Skills& Competencies:

  • Minimum of one year post NYSC relevantwork experience.

2.) Manager, Regional Security Lead

Job Summary

  • Coordinate the provision of efficient and effective security services support to safeguard the EMTS's assets and personnel in assigned region.

Principal Functions
Tactical:

  • Provide input into the development of crisis management plan.
  • Advice on appropriate contingencies to ensure that EMTS' business and assets are adequately secured and protected.
  • Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to the security and HSE activities.
  • Continuously review the unit/ team's activities, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved improvement initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team.
  • Identify required resources, personnel,infrastructure required to achieve the unit strategy.
  • Maintain relationships with keyinternal and external stakeholders i.e. relevant security agencies (SSS,Nigerian Police, Army etc).

Operational:

  • Update the security policies andprocedures on a regular basis in line with environmental realities andinnovation.
  • Monitor Service level Agreement (SLA)with security service providers in assigned region.
  • Conduct spot checks/ random site visitto all business locations within assigned region.
  • Train EMTS personnel in regional offices on security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the deployment of up-to-date security equipment for locations in assigned regions.
  • Manage activities of security officers in assigned region ensuring optimal service delivery and compliance with stated policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the effectiveness/efficiency of security systems on an on-going basis and proffer appropriate recommendation.
  • Identify and recommend relevant security enhancement equipments (surveillance and electronic security systems),programs and initiatives to ensure the organisation's assets are adequately protected
  • Plan and manage the human and material resources of the team/ function to optimize performance, morale and enhance productivity.
  • Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to subordinates, monitoring performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
  • Coordinate the processing of identity/access cards for all staff, visitors and contractors in assigned region.
  • Manage and control access to EMTS facilities in assigned region.
  • Ensure incidents and crisis are proactively and promptly identified, managed and mitigated effectively.
  • Investigate and report on industrial accidents and recommend ways of preventing future occurrence.
  • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Director, Security
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director, Security

Educational Requirements

  • First Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.

Experience, Skills& Competencies:

  •  Six (6) to eight (8) years of work experience, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.

3.) Head, Shared Services

Job Summary

  • To lead the strategy, management, development, performance, and continuous improvement of all related activities around Property, Fleet, Insurance, logistics and Health & Safety.
  • Provide Strategic leadership, professional knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of Health & Safety processes for all aspects of EMTS Operations including Business Continuity strategy, regulatory compliance, institutional policies, and human capital development.
  • Provide expert advice and support on Health and Safety issues to Head of Departments and other Functional Heads in ensuring compliance and adherence to existing relevant local legislation, company policies & guidelines and best industry practices.
  • Develop and provide technical and administrative direction on all safety and health policies and programmes which bear critical importance to overall corporate objectives, operations, and profitability of the various business units in EMTS.

Principal Functions
Tactical:

  • Responsible for design and fit out of office and related facilities based on global best practices to meet requisite quality, HSE and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for an integrated property development and facility management system that guarantees sustainability and reflects a commitment to protecting the health and safety of employees.
  • Ensure effective measurement of safety performance, implementing audits, risk assessment, incident investigations, analysis, and the design of corrective action learning processes.
  • Review internal safety policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and develop new or where necessary, make recommendations to senior management to amend safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide effective management of approved/available budget and activities of the Company's property and facilities management services and management of external contractors to meet service and financial objectives.
  • Identify best practices by leading continuous improvement Initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices, and act as a focal point of contact with company clients, customers, Government regulatory bodies and the public in all areas of health and safety.
  • Support the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) on periodic review and implementation of EMTS property strategy.

Operational:

  • To provide accurate, timely and relevant professional and commercial property advice to management, develop and ensure ongoing review and update of HSE policies and guidelines in line with regulatory trends and company objectives.
  • Take responsibility for the development of a health & safety-conscious culture among the workforce by organising relevant security, health and safety programs and trainings.
  •  Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage direct repots' performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
  • Lead and direct the definition and implementation and review of companywide processes, policies, and procedures as it relates to Facilities and HSE management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective and smooth running of all the company's facilities under the management of the Property Management unit and administrative offices maintenance.
  • Perform engineering duties in planning, designing review, and overseeing installations, construction and maintenance of building structures, base station construction, and facilities in line with the best physical Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards as regards EMTS staff/personnel, asset, and business relationships.
  • Review technical bids from civil engineering contractors and make recommendations on selection.
  • Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by Chief, Human Resources Officer.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline
  • Master's Degree or professional qualification in Project Management and relevant HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH) will be an added advantage.

Experience, Skills & Competencies:

  • 9 - 12 years of work experience with at least 3 in a managerial position
  • Experience in Facilities / Project Management is desirable.
