BARIEL Medical Center is a newly established modern acute-care hospital located in the Port Harcourt, Rivers State. BMC provides General Medical and Surgical healthcare services (outpatient and inpatient) with consultations and specialized services for the whole family (Adults and Pediatric).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Medical Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualification Requirements

• Currently licensed by MDCN with 2 - 3 years post-NYSC work experience in an acute-care hospital
• Competent and skilled in clinical evaluation & management of medical and surgical patients
• Good command of written and spoken English language
• Competent in team leadership with sound interpersonal relationship qualities
• Competent in managing medical and surgical emergency conditions with BLS & ACLS certification
• Familiarity with HMO services and medical documentation using electronic medical records is required.

Job Position: Medical Assistant / Auxiliary Nurse

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Requirements
Qualification requirements for a Certified Medical Assistant/Auxiliary Nurse (CMA/AN) at BMC:

• Graduate of an accredited College of Health Technology and licensed as CMA or SCHEW by CHPRBN
• Good command of spoken and written English with 1-2 year of experience working in a hospital
• You must be knowledgeable in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding/billing and HMO processes.
• Competent and skilled in clinical medical and surgical auxiliary nursing in an acute-care hospital setting
• Competent in the knowledge and application of basic and clinical human anatomy and physiology
• Competent in health safety, immunization practices, antenatal, intra-partum, and post-natal care.
