1.) Manager, Lead Advisory

Summary
- We are seeking to build on recent successes and continue to grow the origination and execution capacity of the team through the recruitment of an M&A professional in our team at the experienced Manager level.
The opportunity
- Leveraging an extensive global network, our M&A team provides advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to close, and we help execute acquisitions, alliances and mergers.
- As part of this team you will be advising shareholders, C-suite executives and boards on evaluating strategic alternatives in the context of transactions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will participate in the execution of corporate finance transactions (buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory) for our clients, preparing client reports and key documentation for fund-raising, acquisitions and divestitures which includes the preparation of information memorandums and business plans.
- You will take an active role in origination and business development activities including involvement in the research materials, preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials and involvement in meeting with existing / target clients.
- There will be an opportunity for you to get involved in a number of projects at any one time, managing assignments/work streams and the teams reporting to the responsible Director/Associate Partner/Partner.
In addition, you will have responsibility for the following:
- Development and use of detailed financial models for business plans or proforma financials and the production of clear analysis to support client needs
- Preparing industry analysis and competitive landscape on prospective Target’s industry
- Work closely with clients and their advisors on executing the transaction and advising them through the M&A process, including leading due diligence and review on definitive transaction agreements
- Taking the lead in key areas in client meetings and contribution on wider issues
- Contribution to delivery of wider strategic objectives across Transactions, as well as support of and participation in initiatives for growth of the firm as a whole
- Building a network across industry, private equity, banks, legal and other advisors: a self-motivator who is comfortable taking the lead in contacting and developing new relationships within the wider marketplace.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably corporate finance in an investment bank, professional services firm or boutique firm
- M&A transaction experience
- Strong numerical, financial and modelling skills based on a well-developed understanding of financial statements
- Sound commercial judgment and an ability to generate creative solutions to problems.

Your Role
- A senior role leading engagement delivery and developing a diverse team, with deep sector expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrate expertise with applicable industry and/or consulting experience related to mergers and acquisitions transactions; business integrations/separations, carve-outs, and other types of transaction engagements.
- Demonstrate experience in the field of transaction restructuring, as well as sound knowledge of performance and financial analysis, integrated business planning and cash flow projection
- Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in leading financial due diligence engagements.
- Analyze financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
- Demonstrate functional expertise in growth strategies, market entry assessments, portfolio reviews, strategic options analysis, operational improvements and commercial due diligence
- Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation
- Develop excellent client relationships at the appropriate client level and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products
- Assist in business development activities including preparing presentations and attending pursuit meetings with clients to help sell work and be responsible for fostering an open and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance and/or related fields.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, lead advisory, transaction diligence, transaction strategy and execution, within a consultancy environment
- MBA or Business inclined Master’s degree an asset
- ACA and/or CFA certification and/or related certification
- Experience with IFRS.
- Fluent in English
- Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills; active listening skills, good (inter)personal communication skills and public speaking skills
- Ability to develop people including supervising staff effectively, providing constructive feedback/training and conduct performance reviews.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.

3.) Manager, ITTS - Transfer Pricing

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager specialised in providing comprehensive transfer pricing services to join our dynamic team.
- The manager will work and lead teams of professional staff in primarily providing transfer pricing advisory, compliance and controversy services to our clients.
- In addition, the successful candidate will be involved in practice management for the firm
Responsibilities
- Support leading teams to provide services across transfer pricing compliance/documentation, transfer pricing advisory and transfer pricing controversy.
- Applying sound knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian TP regulations, OECD TP guidelines and UN practical manual for TP to resolve client challenges.
- Providing guidance on clear understanding and application of the tax legislations/transfer pricing guidelines and regulations to engagement teams when preparing transfer pricing advice, reports, memos or responses to queries from the tax authorities.
- Acting as a liaison with clients’ project team and the relevant government authorities - filing of statutory transfer pricing returns, letters and documents with the federal tax authority.
- Provide guidance to the firm and clients regarding changes and emerging issues in the tax and transfer pricing landscape.
- Manage relationships with clients, regulators, and other external parties, provide insights and champion thought leadership.
- Driving business development efforts and the firm’s strategic initiatives towards continuous improvement in job delivery and overall client service delivery.

- Managing a portfolio of clients ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets and in line with the firm’s criteria around quality & risk management, engagement economics and cash collection.
Requirements
- A degree from an accredited tertiary institution in any discipline with a minimum of second class (upper division) or its equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm.
- Membership of a professional body is a mandatory requirement – ICAN/ACCA and CITN
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing principles, local and international tax laws, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex transfer pricing projects around policy design, advisory, compliance and controversy.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex tax and transfer pricing regulations and identify practical solutions to address challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead a team, influence others, and drive change in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in transfer pricing benchmarking tools and good knowledge of Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
