We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Brand Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Brand Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive brand strategies aligned with the Evans Industries Limited overall marketing objectives and target audience.
- Brand Positioning: Define and refine the brand's positioning to differentiate it from competitors and resonate with target customers.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities. Use insights to inform brand strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Brand Identity Management: Manage the brand's visual identity, including logos, packaging, and brand guidelines, to ensure consistency and alignment with brand positioning.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement across various channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, and creative services, to align brand strategies with overall business goals and ensure consistent brand messaging and execution.
- Product Development Support: Collaborate with business development managers to ensure new products or product enhancements align with the brand's positioning and messaging.
- Brand Communication: Develop and oversee the implementation of integrated marketing communication plans, including advertising, digital marketing, public relations, and social media, to effectively communicate the brand message and value proposition.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, market trends, and competitive activities to track the effectiveness of brand initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Brand Health Monitoring: Conduct regular brand health assessments and consumer sentiment analysis to track brand perception and identify opportunities for strengthening brand equity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is often preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in brand management or marketing roles, preferably within the relevant industry or sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable brand strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for brand initiatives across stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing innovative marketing campaigns and brand experiences.
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and project management tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

3.) Fixed Asset Accountant
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Role Description
- As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of fixed assets, including recording and updating fixed asset transactions, reconciling fixed asset accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with financial statement preparation.
- Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets.
- Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets.
- Assign tag numbers to fixed assets.
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
- Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
- Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
- Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets.
- Recommend to management whether fixed assets should be disposed of.
- Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
- Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
- Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
- Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and the accumulated depreciation.
- Calculate asset retirement obligations for those fixed assets to which AROs are applicable.
- Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets.
- Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
- Prepare property tax returns.
- Represent the company during any audits by a government that involve fixed assets.
- Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles and practices
- Experience in preparing journal entries and maintaining fixed asset records
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of financial statements and reporting
- Proficiency in finance and accounting software
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
