We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Account Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • We seeks to recruit an Account Officer who will be responsible for timely and accurate information reporting including responsibilities for job cost tracking, balance sheet reconciliations, processing bank draws, research and tax processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain timely and accurate general ledger (posting entries, recording accruals, etc.) and maintaining timely and accurate account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Assist with general accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, job costing and general ledger posting.
  • Assist with project setup sheets and maintain accounting filing system for projects.
  • Assist with the required tax reporting in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and update tax provision schedules
  • Research the basis for tax positions to be taken
  • Reconcile invoices with payments.
  • Process and monitor payments and expenses.
  • Receive and verify all vendor invoices.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or equivalent in Finance, Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, receivable and general accounting principles, practice and procedures
  • Being a member of an internationally recognised accounting professional body: ICAN,ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is an advantage
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, advanced formulas, pivot tables etc.). Proficient with other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong ethics, integrity and sound, logical judgment possessing a firm yet friendly approach.
  • Experience in financial auditing is also an added advantage
  • Financial reporting & analysis hands-on experience
  • Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must possess impeccable integrity with a great sense of responsibility.

2.) Experienced Civil Engineer

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Role / Objectives

  • Construction Company seeks to recruit an Experienced Civil Engineer that would oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and infrastructural built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, structures and buildings, power plants, water and sewage systems etc.
  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day field supervision at the site. Ensure all construction is being performed to quality standards in compliance with design specifications, drawings, budget and schedule.
  • Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations to establish effective and efficient project executions.
  • Identify and resolve project design and development problems
  • Recommend measures to enhance improvement or efficiency opportunities that may arise.
  • Coordinate field work including contract work, to ensurecompliancewithcompanystandards, procedures, specifications and codes.
  • Identify and implement construction-specific opportunities for improvement.
  • Test building materials for quality and provide costs estimates and labour required for each project.
  • Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of local, state and federal government/agencies rules, standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A First Degree or Masters from a recognized University in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of post NYSC experience in construction and project execution.
  • Being a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and COREN is desirable.
  • Professional membership with any internationally recognized engineering body (E.g PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable
  • Road Construction experience is a great advantage & is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work with design engineers, clients and contractors.
  • Ability to work with CAD Packages.
  • Excellent time management skills in order to handle competing deadlines.
  • A high level of autonomy and self-efficiency with attention to detail.
  • Intermediate use of general computer programs such as packages in the Microsoft Office Suite.

3.) Experienced Land Surveyor

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Role / Objectives

  • An indigenous Construction Company seeks to recruit an Experienced Land Surveyor to Manage and coordinate surveys and investigations of land surfaces and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Position Overview / Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces.
  • Ensure accurate measurements of the ground as required, including aspects such as small and large-scale distances, angles and elevations.
  • Gather data on the earth's physical and man-made features through surveys
  • Handle the preparation of survey maps, plans, and exhibits.
  • Provide surveying expertise to special surveying problems.
  • Meet with Civil and design engineers to determine pertinent information required for project plans
  • Supervise and use digital mapping and processing data.
  • Make use of geographical information systems (GIS) to analyze and interpret site features.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) and other IT software to interpret data and present information.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A First Degree from a recognized University in Land Surveying.
  • 5 – 7 years of post NYSC experience in conducting land surveys/in the field.
  • Certified Registered Surveyor with the Surveyors Council of Nig (SURCON)
  • Ability to work with design engineers, clients, contractors.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field
  • Experience in Road Construction.
  • Ability to perform horizontal and vertical survey calculations.
  • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Can Lead and direct the team for better productivity.
