1.) School Accountant

Job Location: Ajah, Lagos (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Financial reporting: manage the closing process including reconciliation of accounts and recording of adjustments and provide monthly. Financial reporting to the board including budget vs actuals and other key analysis.
  • Forecasting: update forecasting models as necessary to help support tuition increases, employment needs, and other financial decisions.
  • Lead and manage the budget process including preparation and oversight.
  • Work to communicate ongoing budget and operational needs.
  • Understand and manage taxation, including filling returns.
  • Fixed Asset Management: maintain fixed asset, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Manage School Information systems in the school budget.
  • Review and sign cash disbursements.
  • Cash management including forecasting as necessary.
  • Attend weekly administrative meetings.
  • Budget preparation and presentation to the Board for approval. Includes working with department heads to establish proposed budgets.
  • Support Admin & HR with Variable Tuition including providing budget, historical data, and answering questions as needed.
  • Other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • The candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
  • Experience: 4 years.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.

2.) Human Resource Officer 

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Implementation and where necessary, design of HR programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process for teaching and non-teaching staff, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances in a professional and timely manner
  • Implementation of the performance management process including setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing feedback, and the review or redesign of the performance management process where necessary
  • Execute a robust onboarding programme for new staff and continuous re-alignment / re-orientation programme for existing staff.
  • Assess training needs, recommend and develop training programmes to help ensure that employees are adequately equipped to deliver on management expectations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR matters ensuring that employees are treated fairly and that the College is not exposed to financial/legal liabilities;
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management;
  • Ensure that accurate and complete employee records are maintained in hard copy and digital form;
  • Assist with staff counselling, and disciplinary procedures and hearings where necessary
  • Manage the College payroll functions and ensure compliance with payment and remittance expectations in conjunction with the Accountant / Head of Finance
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all HR data
  • Promote staff welfare and sense of community, managing an effective feedback mechanism
  • Administer all staff welfare packages and benefits e.g., health insurance, pensions, etc.
  • Manage the internal staff communications system for effective information dissemination and enlightenment
  • Provide reports as may be required
  • Any other tasks as may be required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in HR, part of which should be in an educational institution.
  • Relevant Certification in HR
  • Familiar with relevant labour / employment laws.
  • Not older than 35 years
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in word processing and HR software and systems.

Salary
N180,000 - N250,000 Monthly.

3.) School Administrator 

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Actively promote a staff culture that emphasises employee satisfaction, professionalism, high performance, continuous improvement, and alignment with organisational objectives
  • Conduct manpower planning in collaboration with the school management
  • Develop, review and implement effective administrative policies, procedures and systems
  • Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, adequately support operations and properly represent the school brand
  • Responsible to maintain an excellent state of hygiene and cleanliness in the College
  • Actively involved in planning and execution of school events
  • Ensure effective security operations and infrastructure
  • Oversee the bus service operations, ensuring that it runs efficiently, to clients’ satisfaction, and within budget.
  • Communicate with parents on bus shuttle and other relevant matters
  • Oversee the operations of the kitchen
  • Assist in managing students’ dining experience
  • Responsible to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of school supplies, and other related goods and services.
  • Collaborate with the management team in preparation and management of administrative budgets.
  • Oversee the school’s data management function
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, tradesmen and contractors, and manage the relationships.
  • Maintain relationships with relevant government agencies, Community Development Associations, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and non-statutory Health, Safety, Environment and other requirements
  • Responsible for processing and ensuring the timely payment of government and other levies and bills;
  • Responsible for supervision, coaching and performance management of administrative personnel over which he/she has oversight.
  • Preparing reports as may be required
  • Any other administrative function as may be required.
  • As a member of the College Senior Leadership Team (SLT), he / she will be involved in management decision-making and planning, contributing insights and recommendations to advance the College’s development
  • He / she will serve as the Secretary of the SLT.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position in an international secondary school
  • Not older than 40 years
  • Strong organizational, communication, project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and relevant software.

Salary
N400,000 - N450,000 Monthly.
