LearnlyApp is an Educational technology (EdTech) app designed to help users test their knowledge, learn and improve their knowledge of technology. We allow learners to explore different fields through quizzes and courses available on the app, aiming to have an interactive platform which allows continuous user engagement as well as encourages active learning.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Mid-Level Backend Developer (Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CI/CD, Golang)

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Golang, with experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable backend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Golang.
• Design and manage database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
• Debug and resolve backend-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4–6 years of backend development experience.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Node.js and familiarity with Golang.
• Databases: Solid experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• CI/CD: Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows.
• Other Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for backend systems.

2.) Social Media Manager and Community Manager

Job Description

• We are looking for a creative and committed individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager and Community Manager.
• In this hybrid role, you will manage our social media presence while fostering and growing our online communities.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:

• Develop and execute social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
• Create and schedule engaging content (text, images, videos) across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Monitor trends and incorporate them into relevant content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in social media management and/or community management.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and community-building strategies.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to adapt quickly to trends and feedback.
• Experience with community management platforms likeTelegram, or WhatsApp is a plus.

• Full Stack Development: Proficiency in full stack development using any major tech stack, with an ability to troubleshoot and enhance code across both front-end and back-end systems.
