Roles & Responsibilities

• The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for managing the operations of the various businesses in the organisation.
• The COO will collaborate with the relevant stakeholders, to develop and implement the company’s strategic initiatives in compliance with statutory regulations that govern the industries involved.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an MBA, Master's Degree or a Graduate Degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 15 years of relevant and extensive work experience, 5 of which must have been spent in an executive management position
• Proven experience liaising with stakeholders including but not limited to clients, financial institutions, board members, and statutory agencies
• Good understanding of the different industries in which the businesses operate

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze, propose and manage budgets, technologies and resources for projects
• Prioritize, delegate and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables
• Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance
• Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities
• Plan strategies for the development of automation designs and products on schedule and on budget
• Communicate and collaborate with other managers, stakeholders and contractors
• Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a software engineering manager involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations.

• Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
• Fluent with functional, imperative and object-­oriented languages; knowledge of C#, TypeScript or JavaScript would be especially useful
• Strong OOP or Functional Programing and modeling skills
• Experience in .Net Core, Angular and Big data technologies
