We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Internal Auditor

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

• As the company’s Internal Auditor, you shallwork independently to act as an impartial judge of the company’s activities. Your main role will be to provide risk management support and to optimize efficiency by identifying possible noncompliance to company's procedures with respect to sales, assest, inventories and industry standard.
• You will work closely with the company’s accounting department, as well as all the relevantdepartments within the organisation to effectively and efficientlyaudit the sales and inventories of the organization as well as other aspects of a business to achieveoperational efficiency, and compliance to legal liability as it relates to audit and accounting.
• You are to study the company’s policies then compare the written rules to actual business activities and recommend ways to improve procedures or align them more closely with company’s goals.

Specific Roles / Duties

• Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financials reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
• Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans.
• Obtaining, analysing, and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.
• Perform audit of sales, inventories, debtors, stock, cash and bank balance and other receivables on weekly and monthly basis.
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document processes.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
• Maintain open communication with management and audit committee including external auditors.
• Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.

Requirements

• BSc in Accounting, Economics or Finance
• At least, 5-8 years experience in similar role.
• Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Sound independent judgement with great attention to details.
• Good critical-thinking skills to gather all the available data and make informed decisions
• Excellent research skills to find all related information needed.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite and Google suit.

2.) Logistics Officer

Job Location: Calabar, Cross River

Summary

• As the Logistics/Warehouse Officer, you will work closely with the Logistics manager to shall beplan, manageand facilitatethe overall supply chain needs/requirements of the company including handling deliveries across all locations and branches, liaising with logistics companies/vendors, managing stocks, and other fleet concerns to deliver products on deadlines.
• You will be charged with the responsibility of running the storekeeping and stock management of the products shipment, assembled and materials/parts received into the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and management of logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service with other inventory team.
• Overseeing and monitoring of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
• Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments.
• Tackling and resolving any issues or complaints that may arise.
• Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Keeping track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets.
• Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials.

• Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters.
• Ensuring that shipping documents are well kept, updated, and in compliance. Examples include cost statements/ receipt, stock counts, delivery of products, product delivery and shipment documents,etc.
• Responsible for supervising and accounting of inventory, raw materials supplied for production and finished goods.
• Working proactively with the cashier in ensuring and realizing efficiencies in inventory management.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly report of all logistics and warehouse activities.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply chain or any relevant field
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Logistics/Warehouse officer
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Great commercial and business understanding
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• High computer literacy and proficiency in Google suites.
• Must know how to drive with a valid driver license.
• Must reside in Calabar, Cross River State.
• Good knowledge of Calabar road and route.
