The Reddington Multi-specialist Hospital built on nine floors provides fully comprehensive tertiary hospital solutions in most medical areas. Our journey as a healthcare provider began in March 2006 with the establishment of the Cardiac Centre, in Victoria Island, in association with the renowned Cromwell Hospital in London.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Patient Support Officer (Front Desk Officer)
Job Location: Lagos

Department: Customer Service
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide assistance to patients and their families regarding hospital procedures, services, and resources, helping them navigate through hospital departments efficiently.
- Patient Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and hospital staff, addressing any concerns, questions, or requests from patients.
- Coordination with Departments: Work closely with other hospital departments (nursing, administration, billing, etc.) to ensure patient needs are met and information is shared appropriately.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and preferences of patients, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are respected.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, complaints, and feedback. Prepare reports on patient concerns and satisfaction for continuous improvement efforts.
- Information Provision: Offer clear, accurate information about hospital services, healthcare procedures, medical appointments, discharge processes, and insurance-related queries.
- Complaint Handling: Address patient complaints, concerns, or dissatisfaction in a timely and empathetic manner, ensuring the issues are resolved or directed to appropriate staff for resolution.
- Support for Vulnerable Patients: Provide extra assistance to elderly, disabled, or non-English-speaking patients by arranging necessary accommodations, interpreters, or support services.
- Education: Educate patients and families on hospital policies, procedures, and health-related topics as needed.
- Service Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree / HND in Healthcare Administration, Customer Service, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service role is an advantage, particularly in patient-facing environments

2.) Senior IT Officer
Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary
- The IT Officer at Reddington Multi-Specialist Hospital will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all technology systems within the hospital.
- This role includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network security, supporting healthcare IT systems (such as Electronic Medical Records systems), and providing IT support to medical and administrative staff.
- The IT Officer will also play a key role in implementing new technologies and ensuring the hospital's IT infrastructure aligns with industry standards and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration:
- Maintain and manage the hospital’s IT infrastructure, including servers, computers, printers, and network equipment.
- Administer hospital management software and healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
- Ensure regular system backups, data recovery processes, and server maintenance.
Technical Support:
- Provide IT support to clinical and administrative staff for hardware and software-related issues.
- Respond to system outages, troubleshoot problems, and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Set up new user accounts and manage access controls for hospital systems.
Network and Cybersecurity:
- Monitor and maintain the security of hospital networks, ensuring the protection of sensitive patient data and hospital information.
- Implement firewall and antivirus solutions and conduct periodic vulnerability assessments.
- Enforce IT security policies and protocols in compliance with healthcare data regulations such as HIPAA.
System Upgrades and Maintenance:
- Regularly update software and hardware to ensure systems operate efficiently and securely.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for system upgrades, software installation, and equipment repairs.
- Ensure healthcare systems are running smoothly and are up to date with the latest technologies.
Data Management:
- Oversee the hospital’s data management and storage systems.
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of all patient and operational data.
- Implement disaster recovery protocols and ensure proper data backups.
Training and Documentation:
- Train hospital staff on new software systems and best IT practices.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and IT protocols.
- Provide training on cybersecurity awareness and data protection to reduce the risk of breaches.
Healthcare IT Systems:
- Support the deployment and optimization of healthcare-specific systems, including EMR, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), and telemedicine technologies.
- Work with medical staff to ensure smooth integration of IT systems with hospital workflows.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of IT experience, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:

3.) International Insurance Care Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Patient Advocacy: Acting as a liaison between the patient, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure the patient’s needs are met.
- Coordination of Care: Organizing appointments, medical services, and travel arrangements to facilitate seamless access to care.
- Information Provision: Educating patients about their insurance coverage, benefits, and any out-of-pocket expenses they may incur.
- Cultural and Language Support: Assisting patients in navigating language barriers and cultural differences in healthcare settings.
- Emotional Support: Providing reassurance and support to patients and their families during stressful times, helping them feel more comfortable in unfamiliar environments.
- Documentation Assistance: Ensuring that all necessary medical documents, insurance claims, and travel paperwork are correctly completed and submitted.
- Crisis Management: Responding to emergencies or unexpected changes in the patient's condition, coordinating with local healthcare facilities as needed.
- Follow-Up Care Coordination: Assisting in scheduling follow-up appointments or treatments after initial care is provided.
