1.) Chief Financial Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary


  • The CFO is responsible for managing and monitoring all financial aspects of the organization, including Financial Planning, Risk Management, oversight of accounting and reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with financial legislation.
  • He contributes to the development and implementation of the long-term financial strategy to support the company’s growth and sustainability objectives.

Main Responsibilities
Financial Strategy:

  • Development and implementation of the company’s financial strategy.
  • Evaluation of investment opportunities and capital structuring.
  • Proposing solutions to improve financial performance,
  • Ensuring long-term financial sustainability and growth.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Coordination of the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Monitoring financial performance and carrying out financial analyzes (cash flow, profitability, etc.).
  • Implementation and maintenance of financial reporting systems.

Risk Management:

  • Identifying, evaluating and managing financial risks (including liquidity, currency, credit risks).
  • Development and implementation of financial risk management policies.

Financial Reporting:

  • Ensuring the correct and timely preparation of financial statements, in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Preparing quarterly and annual financial reports for management, the board of directors and investors.

Treasury Management:

  • Monitoring cash flows and managing the company’s liquidity.
  • Developing and implementing working capital policies and managing relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Supervising the internal and external audit process.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable financial and fiscal regulations.
  • Oversight and implementation of compliance and corporate governance measures.

Team Development:

  • Coordination and development of teams in the financial department.
  • Establishing performance objectives and periodic evaluation of the team.

Relationship with Investors:

  • Communicating and maintaining relationships with investors, shareholders and financial analysts.
  • Preparing presentations for investor meetings and attending financial conferences.

Educational Qualification and Skills

  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar fields.
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CFA).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the financial field, of which at least 5 years in a management position.
  • Experience managing finance teams and investor relations.
  • Sound knowledge in financial accounting, financial management, treasury, financial analysis and risk management.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of local and international tax and financial legislation.
  • Leadership and the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.

2.) Lead Civil / Structural Engineer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • To Lead the Civil and Structural aspects of Engineering design and Work, and proactively ensure that there are no gaps and that the deliverables comply with COMPANY specifications.
  • Coordinate all interfaces and Civil/Structural related activities, and advise on possible optimization strategies where required.

 Main Responsibilities

  • Review and approve all Civil structural Engineering designs and site preparatory works shop drawings in line with procedures, COMPANY specifications, and standards.
  • Ensure that the basis of design and specifications for buildings, civil, and structural works are adhered to.
  • Review and approve all early works drawings, MTOS, and studies.
  • Analyse the technical proposals by the Engineering contractor and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate the various trades involved in Building Engineering to achieve optimized designs adapted to needs.
  • Lead all Civil and Structural aspects of the work and coordinate Civil/Structural interfaces with other disciplines/professions; Supervise the preparation of PT slab systems, pocket formers, strands, dead and live anchors, wedge grips, etc.
  • Follow up fabrication activities on site and in contractors’ fabrication yards to ensure compliance with engineering designs.
  • Supervise surface preparation and block work setting out, laying, and installation on site using pre-established control axes and coordinates on the ground.
  • Review and approve route survey or existing right of way to re-establish the beacon points.
  • Ensure that the Project Statement of Requirements and engineering dossier requirements are met safely while maintaining quality within budget and schedule.
  • Ensure close interface with Engineering and Construction contractors through Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and commissioning to ensure delivery of Project, tie-in, and Modification.
  • Participate in audits for the different project phases.
  • Supervise site construction activities of Foundation, concrete Pipe Sleepers, and pipe support structures.
  • Approve Request for Inspection (RFI) on every milestone of construction.
  • Ensure the quality of technical work and the technical integrity, constructability, and functionality. 
  • Ensure proper follow-up on Red-line markups and as-built documentation and close-out.

Educational Qualifications & Skills

  • University Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering equivalent or more.
  • Professional Experience: 10 years
  • Experience within projects: 10 years
  • Thorough knowledge of oil & gas field engineering, design, construction, and installation methods including their practice and procedures.
  • Familiar with codes, standards, regulations, and practices applicable to the design and construction of offshore structures/production facilities, including; IP, ITU, API, NEG, ISA, ANSI, AGA, NEMA, etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate oil and gas experience with an emphasis on onshore and offshore engineering design on projects
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques required for Civil/Structural detailed design
  • Ability to communicate articulately and persuasively
  • Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team, which might include the supervision and management of team members and/or contractors
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a multinational workgroup
  • Must be self-motivated and able to effectively influence the Project Team and subcontracted personnel.  
  • He/She should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively function in a team environment.
  • Good interpersonal leadership, Coaching, Communication, and Presentation Skills.
  • Highly experienced engineer with a sound technical background and expertise.

3.) Planning Engineer II

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • Monitor progress and ensure alignment with project goals.  
  • You are responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining schedules and plans for construction and engineering projects.
  • This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project timelines, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Ensure project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into the project planning scenario.
  • Help ensure that all new power generation facilities are equipped to transfer electricity to the grid and direct customers
  • Monitor the progress of projects, identify any discrepancies from the set milestones, and assist in implementing corrective measures in coordination with the Managing Director.
  • Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections. Ensure other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available.
  • Regularly visit sites for both new proposals and existing projects to monitor progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop elaborated proposals for changing processes and procedures assessing the impact on directly related processes/functions.
  • Communicate with contractors to investigate any delays or issues with the quality of work or materials, ensuring all aspects meet the project’s specifications and standards
  • Service unit providing services to the function or directly to the business.
  • Assist in providing technical support during the initial concept and planning stages of projects.
  • Help develop risk management plans by identifying potential risks associated with projects and recommending strategies to minimize or mitigate these risks.
  • Ensure accuracy of vendor/contractor/technical partner daily safety and operational reports.
  • Help ensure that all new power generation facilities are equipped to transfer electricity to the grid and direct customers
  • Ensure discovered non-conformances (NCRs) are identified, reported, tracked, and closed out before acceptance of the work requirements. 
  • Monitor the progress of projects, identify any discrepancies from the set milestones, and assist in implementing corrective measures in coordination with the Managing Director.
  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls, and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices, and the company’s Code of Practices.
  • Regularly visit sites for both new proposals and existing projects to monitor progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Communicate with contractors to investigate any delays or issues with the quality of work or materials, ensuring all aspects meet the project’s specifications and standards
  • Commits to Company core values and ensures full compliance with QHSE policies, standards, procedures, and job-specific requirements by leading and driving the culture of Zero Incident, Zero Accident, and Zero spill initiatives for field operations.
  • Assist in providing technical support during the initial concept and planning stages of projects.
  • Ensure that all necessary field pre-jobs, real-time, and post-jobs documents are properly utilized and duly signed and filed, whilst monitoring and overseeing the timely production of quality documentation.

Educational Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience in Project Management and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Planning.
  • Have the ability to work both alone and as part of a diverse cultural team.
  • Have exposure to high capital value projects in a multi-disciplined environment.
  • Have sound experience in a client-facing role
  • Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. 
  • Have great leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent relevant work experience with significant experience in Oil and Gas Service & Services Project Management in the oil & gas industry
  • Have hands-on experience using Primavera software/Microsoft Project
  • Have the Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have an effective problem-identification and solution skills. 
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
