We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Admin & Logistics Officer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, RIvers
Job Summary
- The Rig Admin Officer provides comprehensive administrative, personnel, and logistics coordination support at the rig site to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- The role supports rig management by managing crew documentation, reporting, logistics coordination, and compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and HSE standards in a field environment.
Key Responsibilties
Rig Administration & Documentation:
- Manage all administrative activities on the rig site in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of rig personnel, attendance, crew rotation schedules, and movement logs.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly administrative and manpower reports to head office.
- Maintain proper filing, control, and safekeeping of rig administrative records, permits, and correspondence.
Personnel & Crew Management Support:
- Coordinate crew onboarding, mobilization, demobilization, and rotation schedules.
- Verify personnel documentation including IDs, medicals, certifications, permits, and approvals.
- Maintain updated crew lists, headcount records, and accommodation allocations.
- Support welfare administration and personnel-related documentation as required.
Logistics & Camp Coordination:
- Coordinate logistics for personnel movement, including transport schedules, manifests, and site access approvals.
- Liaise with logistics teams on delivery of consumables, PPE, food supplies, and administrative materials.
- Support camp administration, accommodation planning, and basic welfare services on site.
- Monitor inventory of administrative and camp-related items and initiate requisitions when required.
HSE & Regulatory Compliance Support:
- Support compliance with company HSE policies and rig site rules from an administrative perspective.
- Maintain HSE-related administrative records such as training attendance, inductions, and toolbox meeting registers.
- Provide documentation support during audits, inspections, and regulatory visits.
- Escalate administrative non-compliance issues or risks to rig management promptly.
Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as the administrative liaison between the rig site and head office functions (HR, Logistics, HSE, Finance).
- Support coordination between rig management and support teams to ensure timely information flow.
- Manage official site correspondence and reporting in a professional and timely manner.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Admin, Logistics, or Office Support role, preferably within an oilfield services, rig, or industrial company.
- Certification in Logistics, Office Administration, or Customer Service is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a structured, compliance driven environment is desirable.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Worked as rig administrators, coordinated crew change, handled accommodation and logistics, or Carried out administrative roles within the hospitality sector.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of office administration and logistics coordination practices.
- Good understanding of personnel movement and logistics in oil & gas or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
2.) Financial Reporting & Internal Controller
Job Location: Port Harcourt, RIvers
Job Summary
- As a Financial Reporting and Internal Controller, you will prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow), ensuring compliance with standards like GAAP/IFRS, managing account reconciliations, supporting audits, and analyzing financial data to provide insights for management, stakeholders, and regulators, focusing on historical data and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation: Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensuring all reporting adheres to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Reconciliation & Analysis: Reconciling general ledger accounts and performing variance analysis to identify trends and financial health.
- Audit Support: Collaborating with internal and external auditors by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Reporting & Presentation: Developing reports and presentations for management, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Internal Controls: Maintaining and improving internal controls and accounting processes.
- Tax Support: Assisting with tax filings and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
- Process Improvement: Participating in projects to upgrade systems and enhance reporting efficiency.
Core Focus
- Accuracy & Timeliness: Ensuring financial information is precise and delivered on schedule.
- Historical Data: Primarily focus on recording and reporting past financial performance.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring the company follows all applicable financial laws and standards.
EMS and OH&S Objectives:
- A 10% decrease in total waste generation in year 2026
- Reduce the company’s Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) by 20% by the end of the next fiscal year.
Academic Qualifications
- HND, B.sc in Accounting with professional qualification with ICAN, ACCA.
- Above 5 Years of experience in taxation and financial management
- Blend of core technical knowledge of tax law and accounting principles.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial statement prep, and data analysis,
- Proficient in the use of ERPs,
- Critical thinker,
- Attentive to detail,
- Communication and problem-solving to accurately report financial health and support business decisions.
3.) Taxation & Financial Manager
Job Location: Port Harcourt, RIvers
Job Summary
- As Taxation and Financial Manager, you will ensure the company is compliant with tax laws by preparing and filing returns, conducting tax research to find opportunities and minimize liabilities, and managing financial records to support tax strategy and planning.
- This role also requires staying updated on tax legislation, providing advice on tax matters to internal stakeholders, and supporting audits and resolving tax-related issues with authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Return Preparation and Filing: Accurately prepare and file corporate, personal, and other types of tax returns by set deadlines.
- Tax Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance and identify potential liabilities.
- Tax Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategies to minimize the company’s tax liabilities and provide advice on tax planning and strategy.
- Financial Record Management: Analyze financial records, such as income statements and expenditure documentation, to determine tax liability and maintain accurate records of tax payments and returns.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal departments and external agencies regarding tax-related matters.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits and help resolve any tax-related issues or disputes that arise.
- Liaising with Tax Authorities: Act as a liaison with taxation offices or other regulatory bodies when necessary.
