1.) Chaplain

Description
- A school situated at Ejigbo Lagos state urgently requires a school chaplain to join its team.As a chaplain,you are to perform religious services, provide counseling, and organize events for students, staff, and parents.
- Your responsibilities typically require you to support the spiritual growth and development of students through religious services and observances, and occasionally through religious educational programming.
Main duties and Responsibilities
The Chaplain will:
- Teach, encourage, and nurture Christian faith among all members of the community.
- Take overall responsibility for the worship and the smooth running of the School Chapel
- Working with the school's teaching & Admin Team to plan for and deliver services that develop student resilience and promote well-being.
- Providing students, their families, and staff with support and/or appropriate referrals in difficult situations such as during times of grief or when students are facing personal or emotional challenges.
- Developing relationships with, and referring students/parents/carers to specialist services within the school as appropriate or externally, under the direction of the school Learning Support Team and principal.
- Organizing one-on-one or group sessions with students, parents, staff and other members of the school community as requested and required by the school community.
- Attending Parents meetings to provide details of the program and the services that are available.
- Mentoring/coaching.etc
Requirements
- Must be a spirit-filled Pastor
- 10 -15 years of previous experience as a Pastor
- Must be Married or widowed with Children.
- A Degree or recognized equivalent
- Must be a Female - for gender balance
- Excellent communication in English is important
- Must reside within Ejigbo and its environs
- Excellent communicator and preacher/teacher of the Christian faith
- Integrity, wisdom, and authenticity
- Commitment to their spiritual responsibilities and an ambition to serve the School well
- Experience in providing support to children and young people and their families to address social and emotional needs.
- 45 years and above.

2.) House Master
Job Location: Ejigbo - Alimosho, Lagos

Job Summary
- We are looking to recruit focused, energetic, results driven, committed and experienced individual, who is willing to live within the school facility, to fill the role of a school house master to manage boarding House Students and the facility in a full - time capacity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily life and well-being of students in the boarding house.
- Provide pastoral care, guidance, and support to students.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive boarding environment.
Key Duties
Pastoral Care:
- Monitor students' emotional and mental well-being.
- Counsel students on personal issues, academic concerns, and social relationships.
- Mediate conflicts and resolve disputes.
- Foster positive relationships among students.
House Management:
- Supervise House Assistants and other support staff.
- Manage house budgets, resources, and facilities.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the boarding house.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
Academic Support:
- Monitor students' academic progress and performance.
- Provide study guidance and support.
- Communicate with teachers and academic staff.
- Encourage academic excellence and personal growth.
Discipline and Behavior:
- Establish and enforce house rules and expectations.
- Manage student behavior and discipline.
- Collaborate with school administrators on disciplinary matters.
- Promote responsible behavior and decision-making.
Communication:
- Keep parents/guardians informed about students' progress and concerns.
- Communicate with teachers, school administrators, and other staff.
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other events.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and incidents.
- Manage student leave, permissions, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate house events, activities, and outings.
- Prepare reports and updates for school administrators.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in staff training and professional development.
- Collaborate with other House Masters and school staff.
- Support school events, sports, and extracurricular activities.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the school administration.

- A First Degree in any discipline
- + 5 years of experience as a house master in a reputable school
- Strong leadership and management skills.

- Assist the Matron/House Parent in overseeing daily boarding operations.
- Support student welfare, safety, and well-being.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful boarding environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Morning wake-up and evening checks on students.
- Supervise students during meals, study sessions, and leisure time.
- Monitor dormitory cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with laundry, ironing, and distribution of clean clothes.
- Help with meal supervision and snack distribution.
- Support students with homework, projects, or personal issues.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and incidents.
- Communicate with teachers, parents, and school administrators as needed.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students.
- Mediate conflicts and resolve minor issues.
- Encourage positive relationships among students.
- Foster a sense of community and belonging.
- Assist with student arrivals and departures.
- Manage keys, lockers, and lost-and-found items.
- Coordinate student activities, events, and outings.
- Administer basic first aid.

- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking.
