We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Junior Accountant
Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

• You will be responsible for posting journal entries, preparing financial statements, maintaining accounts, receivables, or payables and administering monthly payroll for employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in Accounting or any related field.
• 2-3 years of related work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Being a chartered accountant is an added advantage.
• Candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry and factory will be an added advantage
