Junior Research Fellow


The Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) is the premier Think Tank of the Federal Government on socio-economic issues. Established in 1960. Located in Ibadan Oyo State, the institutes mandate includes scholarly research, policy analysis, and formulation of policy prescriptions that promote social and economic development in the country. 

Towards attaining this mission, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who must be Nigerian nationals to fill the vacant research position below:

Job Position: Junior Research Fellow

Subject: Health Policy/Public Health

Job Details
The following are the specific areas of specialisations for which applications may be submitted:

  • Public health with Nutrition bias
  • Public health with Economics bias

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess minimum of a First Degree qualification.
  • An MBBS/MPH will be an added advantage

Salary Scale
CONRAISS 8.

Conditions Of Service
The appointment, which is to commence early 2019, is a career track position subject to standard academic service conditions. It may be extended for specific periods or confirmed to retiring age. Fringe benefits will be as stated in the Institutes Conditions of Service.
