Logistics Manager Job at MNE Translogistics

MNE Translogistics provides you with haulage services that transport your goods safely from one location to the other. We have trucks adequately fit to ply the road, whose specifications range from different manufacturers which include but are not limited to Scania, Howo, DAF, Man Diesel etc, conveying a minimum capacity of metric 30 tons and spans up to 60 metric tons. Our communication system cannot be equalled because our customer service representatives are available round the clock. Drivers are closely monitored by our trackers 24/7 thereby checking for speed and unnecessary stops that might cause delays.


Our employment/onboarding process for drivers are carried out by professionals thereby ensuring we get the best and most qualified drivers. All the vehicles in our fleet are insured for sake of eventualities, each of which are insured with 50 million Naira including GIT (Goods in Transit) insurance. In MNE Trans Logistics Providing logistics and transportation services is our core competency. Our top functional areas are transportation and distribution.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Manager
Job Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the organization's fleets, drivers, and staff.
  • Maintain a database of the MNE Fleet, mechanics, and drivers.
  • Manage and evaluate truck/Trailer movement, including repairs and renewal of vehicle particulars.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and files of Fleet inventory.
  • Scheduling maintenance on trucks, ensuring that drivers comply with driving regulations.
  • Administer health and safety regulations of goods and drivers.
  • Ensure a high standard level of discipline among all staff including drivers, mechanics, securities, and others.
  • Discover and implement innovations and trends in the field of logistics.
  • Monitor the transit time of all drivers and ensure absolute compliance with the approval transit time.
  • Ensure adequate compliance with the organization’s standards to maintain vehicles by advocating the best practices in the organization.
  • Manage accident reports and follow up on insurance guidelines.
  • Manage drivers assigned in your fleet to meet the set target given by the Company.
  • Manage and eradicate delays in transit, and transit repairs taking longer than expected.
  • Execute any other task assigned to you from time to time.

Salary

  • N300,000 - N350,000 monthly
