Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager with expertise in supply chain management to oversee and optimize our procurement, shipping, and operational processes.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers to customers, managing a team, and driving continuous improvement in logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management with suppliers.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolve any issues, and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and manage logistics and warehouse teams, ensuring efficient daily operations.
• Implement and maintain best practices in warehouse management, including inventory control, storage, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate and oversee the shipping and transportation of goods, both domestically and internationally.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing purchasing, shipping, and logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and tools.
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management would be a plus.

Gross Pay
N180,000 per month.
