We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Supervisor

Job Location: Otto Wharf, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Work closely with Port managers to ensure effective discharge of responsibility and ensure compliance
• Work closely with maintenance team to ensure the TAT for repairs are achieved
• Ensuring Road cost is verified before payment
• Draw up daily operation plans to ensure effective utilization of trucks for loading activities and ensure the achievement of a minimum number of trips per week are achieved.
• Ensure the container card are collated and forward to business development department for further processing
• Do a follow up calls with drivers for possible intervention/resolution where necessary
• Regular daily operational loading i.e. Daily Operational planning, Mid-day progress report and end of the day report
• Ensure prompt liaising with clients to get information on weekly requirement to enable us plan and meet the requirements.
• Manage and coordinate ALL activities of port officers and Drivers.
