Yabatech Consult Limited is the business outfit of Yaba College of Technology registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) RC 318820. Established on the third day of february, 1986 as an outfit of Yaba College of Technology, to provide qualitative industrial and educational consultancy services to the college public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy. It continues to render services in the said capacity until 15th of August, 1997 when it was registered as a limited liability company, solely owned by Yaba College of Technology.

The Board of Directors, Yabatech Consult Limited hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Managing Director

Job Location: Yaba, Lagos

Duties
The Managing Director will be:

• Responsible for the day to day business operations, staff management and general administration of the Consult Limited.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plan, effective internal control system, accountability and reporting standards to achieve Yabatech Consult Limited strategic business objectives.
• Expected to show exemplary leadership and capacity to manage human and material resources.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors through the Chairman.

Qualifications and Experience
The prospective applicants must:

• Hold a good Bachelor of Science Degree (at least Second Class Upper Division) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing Economics and Human Resources Management.
• Have at least five (5) years post qualification cognate experience, in a managerial capacity in any Business Organization plus membership of recognised relevant professional body and be computer literate.
• Hold MBA or M.Sc. Degree will be an added advantage.
• Be intellectually and professionally sound and knowledgeable in business development and drive for profitability.
• Present evidence of physical and medical fitness (from a Government Hospital).
• Present evidence of professional competence, industry, and efficient management of human and material resources.
• Not be less than forty (40) years of age and not more than fifty-five (55) years old.

Terms of Appointment and Condition of Service

• The successful candidate will hold office a tenure of four (4) years effective from the date of assumption of duty inclusive of six (6) months probation.
• The appointment is renewable for a maximum period of four (4) years.
• The salary attached to the position is negotiable.
• The salary shall be subject to review as may be approved by the Board of Directors from time to time.
