United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited is Nigeria's oldest oil service company having begun operations in the western Niger Delta in the early 1960’s and incorporated as a limited liability company in 1971. The company has over 50 years of continuous operations specializing in land and swamp 2D, 3D and 4D seismic data acquisition and has conducted seismic surveys for all the major oil companies operating in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Network Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualification

• Applicants must possess a minimum of second-class University Degrees in Computer Science or another closely related field.

Key requirements Include:

• Maintaining computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers, installing radio, internet instrument and other physical hardware
• Installing and configuring network equipment
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management
• Implementing disaster recovery procedures
• Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
• Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for all systems
• Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
