Job Position: Network Security Engineer
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
What will you be doing?

• Interpreting,Planning, engineering, and monitoring the security arrangements for the protection of the network systems.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of all security-related policies and processes.
• Routinely conduct penetration testing
• Conducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system.
• Creating different ways to solve the existing threats and security issues.
• Testing and checking the system for weaknesses in software and hardware.
• Maintaining firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security.
• Investigating intrusion and hacking incidents, collecting incident responses, and carrying out forensic investigations.
• Determining latest technologies and processes that improve the overall security of the system.
• Developing tracking documents to note system vulnerabilities.
• Support and maintain all Security and Information Risk Management (IRM) compliance across the business and ensure that Contractual security requirements are met at all times.
• Running software and system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
• Performing integrated quality assurance testing for security functionality and resiliency attacks
• Ensure all security incidents are investigated and reported in a timely manner and that any corrective action is properly identified and implemented.

Your Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Information Security or Network Security in an enterprise environment
• A strong understanding of the following:
  • Routing and Switching
  • Advanced TCP/IP troubleshooting
  • Experience adding proper network segmentation and working on segmentation projects
  • Experience with IPS, IDS and IDPS
  • Proxy technology experience
  • Experience in Financials, DoD or other high security and regulated environments a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to introduce ideas and train other technical teams
  • Risk assessment and mitigation expertise in IT or IS
  • Demonstrated track record of success owning information security/technology project from start to finish.

Salary
NGN300,000 - NGN400,000 monthly.
