NCAT - The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria is the foremost Approved Aviation Training Institution in Africa.
It was established in 1964 with the mandate to produce highly skilled Aviation Professionals such as Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Air Traffic Safety Engineers, Air Traffic Controllers, Airline Cabin Crew Personnel, Flight Dispatchers and other specialists for the aviation industry.

Job Title:   Flight Operation Officer I (CONTEDISS08)

• Candidates must have NCAA dispatchers Licence with at least 3 experience. 
• A good university degree is an added advantage.

Job Title:  Flight Operation Officer II (CONTEDISS07)

• Candidates must have NCAA dispatchers Licence with at least 2 years experience.

Job Title:   Principal Flying Instructor I (CONPCASS 07)

• Candidates with Diploma from any ICAO recognized Flying School with ATPL and full Instructors Rating and a minimum of 4,000 flying hours with 2,000 as Instructional hours.

Job Title:   Flying Instructor I (CONPCASS 04)

• Candidates with Diploma from any ICAO recognized Flying School with at least 1,000 flying hours of which should be 600 Instructor Hours.

Job Title:  Flying Instructor II (CONPCASS 03)

• Candidates with Diploma, CPL/ME/IR and NCAA Flying Instructors Rating from any ICAO recognized Flying School with at least 400 flying hours.

Job Title:   Flying Instructor III (CONPCASS 02)

• Candidates with Diploma, CPL/ME/IR and NCAA Flying Instructors Rating from any ICAO recognized Flying School with at least 300 flying hours.

Job Title:  Flying Instructor In Training (CONPCASS 01)

• Candidates with Diploma, CPL/ME/IR from any ICAO recognized Flying School and must not be above the age of 30 years.

Job Title:  Chief Flying Instructor (Rotary Wing) (CONPCASS 09)

• Candidates with ATPL and Flying Instructors Rating plus a minimum of 3000 flying hours of which at least 1500 hours should be instructional hours. 
• TRE/TRI would be an added advantage.

Job Title:  Assistant Chief Flying Instructor (Rotary Wing) (CONPCASS 08)

• Candidates with ATPL and Flying Instructors Rating plus a minimum of 2500 flying hours of which at least 1000 hours should be instructional hours. 
• TRE/TRI would be an added advantage.

Job Title:  Principal Flying Instructor I (Rotary Wing) (CONPCASS 07)

• Candidates with ATPL and Flying Instructors Rating plus a minimum of 2000 flying hours of which at least 750 hours should be instructional hours

• Candidates with Diploma and CPL (Helicopter) from any ICAO recognized Flying School and must not be above the age of 30 years.

Job Title:  Principal Ground Instructor II (CONPCASS 06)

• Candidates must possess a good University degree not lower than second class lower in Meteorology, physics, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with evidence of Completion of National Youth Service plus Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). 
• Fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate and instructional experience. 
• Membership of appropriate learned Society is an added advantage. 
• Must not be more than Forty-five (45) years old.

Job Title:  Ground Instructor-in-Training (CONPCASS 01)

• Candidates must possess a good University degree not lower than second class lower division in Meteorology, Physics, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with evidence of completion of National Youth Service and not more than thirty (30) years of old.

Job Title:  Principal Cabin Crew Instructor II (CONPCASS 06)

• Candidates must possess a good University degree not lower than second class lower or Higher National Diploma not lower than Upper credit with evidence of completion of National Youth Service and NCAA Cabin Crew License with fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate and instructional experience. 
• The right candidates must not be more than forty-five (45) years old.

Job Title:  Cabin Crew Instructor-In-Training (CONPCASS01)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower or Higher National Diploma not lower than Upper Credit with evidence of completion of National Youth Service and NCAA Cabin Crew License. 
• The right candidate must not be more than thirty (30) years old.

Job Title:  AME Instructor-In-Training (CONPCASS 01)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower in Aeronautical or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with NYSC discharge certificate.

Job Title:  AME Instructor III (CONPCASS 02)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower in Aeronautical or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with NYSC discharge certificate.
• Candidate must also have a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and AME License CAT “A” and “C” or “E” and “I” or “X” with at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience or a masters in aeronautical engineering or related field.

Job Title:   AME Instructor II (CONPCASS 03)

• Candidates must possess the qualification as specified in (1) above with Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and AME License CAT “A” and “C” or “E” and “I” or “X” with at least (6) six years post qualification cognate experience or a Master’s degree in aeronautical engineering or related field with at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience.
• Graduate membership of a professional engineering body and registration with COREN is an added advantage.

Job Title:   ATE Instructor II (CONPCASS 03)

• Candidates must possess a University Degree not lower than second class upper in Electrical/Electronic, Telecommunication or Computer Engineering and ATSEP License with at least one (1) Rating. 
• The Candidate should have at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience.

Job Title:  ATE Instructor In Training (CONPCASS 01)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class upper in Electrical/Electronic, Telecommunication or Computer Engineering or Computer Science from a recognised University with NYSC discharge certificate.

Job Title:   Higher Technologist (CONTEDISS 08)

• Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma not lower than Upper Credit in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or Science Laboratory (Physics with Electronics or Telecommunications) from a recognised institution or NCAT Diploma with ATSEP Licence with at least one (1) Rating. 
• The Candidate should have at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience. Training and/or experience on either solar power or wind energy or PLC or Microcontrollers is an added advantage.

Job Title:   Technologist (CONTEDISS 07)

• Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma not lower than Upper Credit in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or Science Laboratory (Physics with Electronics or Telecommunications) from a recognised institution with NYSC discharge certificate or NCAT Diploma with ATSEP Licence and at least one (1) Rating. 
• Training and/or experience on either solar power or wind energy or PLC or Microcontrollers is an added advantage.

Job Title:   Principal ATS Instructor II (CONPCASS 06)

• Candidates must possess a good degree not lower than second class lower in any of the Physical Sciences and ATC Diploma from NCAT or any other ICAO recognized Aviation School plus Terminal Radar or Area Control Rating (Non-Radar) with Twelve (12) years post A & B rating and Instructional experience.

 
Job Title:   Senior ATS Instructor (CONPCASS 05)

• Candidates must possess a good degree not lower than second class lower in any of the Physical Sciences and ATC Diploma from NCAT or any other ICAO recognized Aviation School plus Terminal Radar or Area Control Rating (Non-Radar) with nine (9) years post A & B rating and Instructional experience.

Job Title:  Instructor-In-Training (ATS/COM/AIS/GAO) (CONPCASS 01)

• Candidates must possess a good University Degree not lower than second class lower in any of the Physical Sciences plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or exemption letter.

Job Title:   AVSEC Instructor-in-Training (CONPCASS 01)

• Candidates must possess a University Degree not lower than Second Class lower division in Meteorology, Physics, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any of the Physical Sciences plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption letter and not more than thirty (30) years of age.

Job Title:   Principal AIS/GAO Instructor II (CONPCASS 06)

• Candidates must possess a good university degree not lower than second class lower in any of the Physical Sciences and GAO Diploma or Advance AIS Certificate from NCAT or any other ICAO recognized Aviation School plus Twelve (12) post AIS and GAO training/Field and Instructional experience.

Job Title:  Senior AIS/GAO Instructor (CONPCASS 05)

• Candidates must possess a good university degree not lower than second class lower in any of the Physical Sciences or English or French and GAO Diploma or Advance AIS Certificate from NCAT or any other ICAO recognized Aviation School plus 9 years Post AIS and GAO training/Field and Instructional experience.

Job Title:  Principal Communication Instructor I (CONPCASS 07)

• Candidates must possess a good university degree not lower than second class lower in English or French and/or Aeronautical Communication Operators (A.O) Diploma from NCAT or any other ICAO recognized Aviation School plus Certificate on ACO and CCM Courses and with at least fifteen (15) years Post AO training and instructional experience.

Job Title:  Senior Communication Instructor (CONPCASS 05)

• Candidates must possess a good university degree not lower than second class lower in English or French and/or Aeronautical Communication Operators (A.O) Diploma from NCAT or any other ICAO recognized Aviation School plus Certificate on ACO and CCM Courses and with at least nine (9) years Post AO training and instructional experience.

 
Job Title:  Simulator Officer in Training (CONPCASS 06)

• Candidates possessing at least Higher National Diploma not lower than Upper Credit in Statistics or Mathematics or Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution plus NYSC discharge Certificate.

Job Title:  AMS Instructor-in-Training (CONPCASS 01)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower in Aviation Management, Air Transport Management or Engineering from a recognized institution with NYSC discharge certificate.

Job Title:  AMS Instructor III (CONPCASS 02)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower in Aviation Management, Air Transport Management, or Engineering from a recognized institution with NYSC discharge certificate plus at least three (3) years teaching experience or possession of a Master’s Degree in any of the relevant areas.

Job Title:  Senior AMS Instructor (CONPCASS 05)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower in Aviation Management, Air Transport Management, or Engineering from a recognized institution with NYSC discharge certificate plus at least three (3) years teaching experience. 
• Possession of a Master’s Degree in any of the relevant areas above is mandatory, plus 10 years post qualification cognate experience. 
• Corporate membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage.

Job Title:  Principal AMS Instructor (CONPCASS 07)

• Candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower in Aviation Management, Air Transport Management, or Engineering from a recognized institution with NYSC discharge certificate plus at least three (3) years teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in any of the relevant areas. 
• Possession of a PHD is an added advantage, plus 15 years post qualification cognate experience and corporate membership of a recognized professional body.

Job Title:  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer II (Helicopter) (CONTEDISS 09)

• Possession of Airframe and Power plant (A&P) license with ratings on Bell 206 Helicopters in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering from recognised Institution plus post-graduation experience of at least three (3) years and not more than 40 years of age.

Job Title:  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer III (Helicopter) (CONTEDISS 08)

• Possession of Airframe and Power plant (A&P) license with ratings on Bell 206 Helicopters in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering from recognised Institution and not more than 35 years of age.

Job Title:  Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) (CONTEDISS 11)

• Possession of a B2 licence in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Electrical Engineering from a recognised Institution plus post-graduation experience of at least nine (9) years and not more than 45 years of age.

Job Title:  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer III (Avionics) (CONTEDISS 08)

• Possession of Basic ‘E’ & ‘I’ licence in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Electrical Engineering from recognised Institution and not more than 35 years of age.

Job Title:  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer II (Airborne Radio) (CONTEDISS 09)

• Possession of Radio licence 12.1, 12.2 or 12.3 in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Electrical Engineering from recognised Institution plus at least three (3) years working experience and not more than 40 years of age.

Job Title:  Aircraft Maintenance Engineer III (Airborne Radio) (CONTEDISS 08)

• Possession of Radio licence 12.1, 12.2 or 12.3 in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Electrical Engineering from recognised Institution and not more than 35 years of age. 
• Working experience on airborne radio equipment is an advantage.

Job Title:   Aircraft Maintenance Engineer III (A&P) (CONTEDISS 08)

• Possession of an A&P basic licence in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering from recognised Institution and not be more than 35 years of age. 
• Working experience on the Colleges fleet of Aircraft (Tampico TB9 or Trinidad TB20 or Beech Baron 58 or TBM850 or Diamond DA40Tdi) is an added advantage.

Job Title:   Store Engineers (CONTEDISS 08)

• Possession of an A & P or E & I licence in addition to a NCAT diploma or higher qualification in Aeronautics or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from recognised Institution plus a good computer proficiency skills and not be more than 35 years of age. 
• Possession of a certificate in stores procedure or working experience is an added advantage.

Job Title:  Assistant Chief Technician (Airframe) (CONTEDISS 10)

• Possession of a recognized repair Specialist Certificate in addition to attendance of an Airframe repair course from an ICAO recognized Institution plus at least nine (9) years working experience and should not be more than 45 years of age.

Job Title:  Maintenance Engineers-In-Training (CONTEDISS 07)

• The candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower or HND not lower than lower credit in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Engineering from a recognised institution plus NYSC discharge certificate.

Job Title:   Computer Programmers/Analysts (CONTEDISS 07)

• The candidates must possess a University degree not lower than second class lower or HND not lower than lower credit in Computer Science from a recognised University or Polytechnic and a good understanding of application programming, web design and mobile apps development.

Job Title:  G.3. Maintenance Technicians (Air Conditioning, Computer Networks and Electrical Engineering) (CONTEDISS 06)

• The candidates must possess ND in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics from a recognised Polytechnic plus 2 years’ cognate experience.

Job Title:  Computer Graphics Designer (CONTEDISS 06)

• The candidate must possess ND in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognised Institution plus proven skills in computer graphics applications.

Job Title:  Senior Medical Officer II (CONMESS 03)

• Candidate must possess Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification, registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with at least six (6) years of post-qualification cognate experience or candidate with postgraduate qualification in Medicine with at least 3 years post qualification cognate experience. 
• Possession of at least a Certificate in Basic Aviation Medicine from a Certified Aviation Medicine Institution or Aeromedical attachment will be an added advantage.

Job Title:  Medical Officer (CONMESS 02)

• Candidate possessing Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MB; BS) or equivalent qualification, registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with at least three (3) years of post-qualification cognate experience or candidate with postgraduate qualification in Medicine.

Job Title:  Staff Nurse/Staff Midwife (CONHESS 06)

• Candidate possessing both Nigerian Registered Nurse (NRN) or Nigerian Registered Midwife (NRM) or equivalent qualification who has duly registered with the Nursing and Midwife Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Job Title:  Nursing Sister/Nursing Officer (CONHESS 07)

• Candidate possessing NRN plus NRM who has duly registered with the NMCN with at least three (3) years post qualification experience. 
• Evidence of Aeromedical attachment in a certified Aeromedical Centre is an added advantage.

Job Title:  Medical Laboratory Technicians (CONHESS 06)

• Candidate possessing West African School Certificate/Senior Secondary School Certificate who has successfully completed three (3)-year training in a recognized health institution and obtained registration with Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) with at least two (2) years cognate working experience.

Job Title:  Medical Laboratory Technologist (CONHESS 07)

• Candidate possessing National Diploma from the Institute of medical laboratory technology, registration with MLSCN with bias in chemical pathology and work experience of at least three years.

Job Title:  Medical Laboratory Scientist (CONHESS 05)

• Candidate possessing a University Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized institution, registration with MLSCN with bias in chemical pathology and work experience of at least three years.

Job Title:   Optometrist (CONHESS 09)

• Candidate must possess Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree or equivalent qualification registrable with the Optometrist and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria and must have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps Scheme or Obtained the NYSC certificate of exemption.

Job Title:  Scientific Officer Grade II (CONHESS 07)

• By direct appointment of a candidate possessing a good Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in medical and appropriate natural sciences e.g. Microbiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology and must have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps Scheme or Obtained the NYSC certificate of exemption.

Job Title:   Pharmacist Grade II (CONHESS 07)

• Candidate must possess a degree in Pharmacy and a registered member with the Pharmacist Registration Board of Nigeria and must have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps Scheme or Obtained the NYSC certificate of exemption.

Job Title:  Environmental Health Officer (CONHESS 06)

• Candidate possessing Royal Society of Health Diploma for Public Health Officer or West African Health Examination Board Diploma for Public Health Officer/Environmental Health Officer.

Job Title:  Health Information Management Officer (CONHESS 06)

• Candidate possessing National Diploma (ND) in Health Information Management.

Job Title:  Higher Health Information Management Officer ((CONHESS 07)

• Candidate possessing a good National Diploma (ND) in Health Information Management with at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience or possession of a good Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management plus NYSC discharge certificate.

Job Title:  College Librarian (CONSOLIDATED)

• A good degree from a recognised university plus Master’s degree in library studies with 15 relevant years’ experience or doctorate degree in library studies with 12 years’ relevant experience and must have been a chief librarian in a polytechnic or comparable institution of learning for at least 5 years with adequate knowledge of ICT. 
• Registration with professional body is mandatory.

• Candidate must possess a good University Degree not lower than second class lower who is legally qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria with 18 years’ relevant experience. Registration with professional body is mandatory.
