1.) Accountant
Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary
- The Accountant is a critical role responsible for managing CIG Motors’ financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate and timely financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- The Accountant will work closely with the Financial Supervisor and other key stakeholders to maintain the integrity of the company’s financial records, oversee cost control measures, and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- This position demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles to ensure CIG Motors consistently meets its financial reporting and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accounting vouchers according to accounting regulations, ensuring that vouchers are legal, content is true, data is accurate, procedures are complete, and accounts are sound. Timely record and calculate accounts, close books on time, report accounts as scheduled, and conduct regular reconciliations (including accounts receivable and actual funds). Ensure that the provided accounting information is legal, true, accurate, timely, and complete.
- Strictly supervise business departments to comply with fixed asset management regulations, accurately calculate and extract fixed asset depreciation, prepare fixed asset entries, and urge using departments to handle the increase or decrease of fixed assets properly.
- Handle daily tax-related work for the company.
- Review daily payment and reimbursement processes according to relevant company management regulations.
- Responsible for vehicle cost control, ensuring business departments strictly execute vehicle management requirements with detailed accounting dimensions to ensure accurate vehicle cost accounting.
- Responsible for income accounting work, ensuring timely and accurate income calculations.
- Manage accounts receivable by providing timely details of accounts receivable and urging business departments to clear receivables.
- Initially responsible for completing the accounting processing work for the energy company.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Financial Management;
- Proficient in financial professional knowledge with the ability to independently complete full-cycle accounting; at least 3 years of accounting experience; experience in manufacturing or internet finance preferred;
- Proficient in computer use, especially in Excel functions and pivot table skills.

2.) Cashier
Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary
- The Cashier is a key role responsible for managing CIG Motors' daily payment collections and ensuring the accuracy of cash and bank transactions.
- The Cashier will oversee the processing of payments, the safekeeping of cash and financial documents, and the reconciliation of accounts to maintain the integrity of the company’s financial operations.
- This position demands a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills to ensure compliance with company financial regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Strictly handle various payments collections according to company regulations.
- Register cash and bank deposits in a diary account sequentially based on completed payment vouchers, maintaining daily clarity and monthly reconciliation, ensuring accounts match cash flows accurately.
- Safeguard relevant seals and valuable tickets according to requirements and use them per prescribed procedures.
- Maintain cash within prescribed limits without exceeding them; ensure proper safekeeping of cash, checks, and invoices without loss.
- Timely transmit relevant bank statements and vouchers to the general ledger accountant to ensure accurate accounting work.
- Check daily fund arrivals in various accounts; immediately verify with banks and relevant departments if there are discrepancies, notifying department supervisors for timely resolution.
- Assist in monthly or random cash counts to ensure account accuracy.
- Review bank statements for all companies accounts to ensure accuracy in receipts, payments, and balances.
- Prepare cash management reports.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
- Associate degree or above in Accounting-related fields
- Accounting qualification with at least two years of cashier experience
- Familiar with fund management; detail-oriented with strong responsibility and communication skills;
- Proficient in computer use, especially in Excel functions and pivot table skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the CIG operations, including production, logistics, customer service, and aftersales.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed to meet operational goals.
- Advise the R&D team in conducting market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape.
