Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Responsibilities


  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 2 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principle
  • Strong experience in management accounting and reporting
  • Thorough knowledge of general tax laws and remittances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyse large amounts of data
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the entire Microsoft office Suite with high level of efficiency and accuracy.

Salary
N100,000 - N170,000 Monthly.


Job Position: Human Resources Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Requirements

  • B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Social Studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
  • HR Certification(e.g. CIPM, PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
  • Proven experience as HR officer or other HR position
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
