Job Summary
- As part of our ongoing projects in Lagos, Horatio Limited is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer/Planner to manage the planning and execution of our construction works.
- The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the operations team to handle bids, tenders, and project planning for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
- This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run efficiently, meeting all project milestones and quality standards..
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules for ongoing and upcoming projects in Lagos.
- Ensure that project timelines, resources, and budgets are met through effective planning.
- Create and maintain work breakdown structures, ensuring all project activities are captured
- Review bid documents, assess project requirements, and help develop competitive proposals.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate data for tender submissions.
- Generate and submit regular progress reports to the senior management team.
- Ensure all documentation complies with both company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors, to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Oversee the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management with successful delivery of 3+ large-scale projects.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software and budgeting tools.
- Experience with planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and scheduling techniques.
- Familiarity with bid preparation and tender management processes.
