1.) Project Engineer / Planner

Job Summary


  • As part of our ongoing projects in Lagos, Horatio Limited is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer/Planner to manage the planning and execution of our construction works.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the operations team to handle bids, tenders, and project planning for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run efficiently, meeting all project milestones and quality standards..

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules for ongoing and upcoming projects in Lagos.
  • Ensure that project timelines, resources, and budgets are met through effective planning.
  • Create and maintain work breakdown structures, ensuring all project activities are captured
  • Review bid documents, assess project requirements, and help develop competitive proposals.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate data for tender submissions.
  • Generate and submit regular progress reports to the senior management team.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with both company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors, to provide updates and resolve issues.

  • Proficiency in project management software and budgeting tools.
  • Experience with planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and scheduling techniques.
  • Familiarity with bid preparation and tender management processes.
