1.) Tariff Management Associate
Job Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full Time
Department: Provider Relations
Description
- This role is responsible for executing price control strategy via tariffs including, market price research, managing provider tariffs to be standardized and up-to-date in pricing, negotiating tariffs, entering tariff and pricing data, and tiering providers.
- Manage all provider tariffs via the provider management portal ·
- Handle tariff negotiation requests using the standard operating procedure ·
- Assign provider tier using the standard operating procedure ·
- Maintain the tariff reference to be up to date in pricing and comprehensive ·
- Promptly and efficiently upload new tariffs for providers ·
- Execute price control strategies via tariff management.
Requirements
- Minimum of a First Degree, with an advantage if the degree is Medical as in Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, etc, ·
- At least 2 years of experience in a hospital billing or a tariff-related role. ·
- Excellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills. ·
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ·
- Adhere to the standard operating procedure for executing tasks ·
- Audit and update the standard procedure for tariff management and other related SOPs for improved performance
- Experience and high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite or Google Suite of products. ·
- Skills for fast and efficient data entry. ·
- Medical knowledge and experience are an added advantage. ·
- Experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding is an added advantage.
- Work with technology team on any update on the processes or products for claims or provider management.
- Efficiently manage multiple stakeholders to reach shared goals in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

2.) Business Associate
Job Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract
Department: Sales
The Role
- We are looking to hire a Business Associate on a one-year fixed-term contract to support the development of the Go-To-Market strategy for our Small Business division.
Responsibilities
- Interact with and gather information on the prospective customers to understand their segments, needs, preferences, and willingness to pay, using surveys, focus groups and other data gathering techniques.
- Research and analyse data to understand Reliance Health's competitive advantage, including competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, etc.
- Support the design of the product for the target customer segment to achieve product market fit.
- Develop and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
- Implement aligned strategies with phased launches of the product in the market.
Requirements
- Graduate or Master’s Degree with 1 - 3 years of Management Consulting experience
- Demonstrated ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis, with a demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language(s)
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Experience conducting market research to drive insights on a product build or upgrade (strong plus).

3.) Underwriting Team Lead
Job Location: Lagos

Description
- As a the team lead for underwriting at Reliance Health, you will play a pivotal role in assessing risk, determining pricing for incoming clients, and driving the success of our B2B and B2C health insurance products in multiple emerging markets.
- This leadership position requires a strategic mindset, a focus on maintaining ideal medical expense ratios, and implementing plans to enhance the profitability of underperforming accounts.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, sales, customer success, and clinical leadership, to ensure sustained revenue growth, high retention rates, and overall profitability.
Responsibilities
- Assess risk and determine pricing for B2B and B2C health insurance products.
- Implement logical rules-based underwriting processes in alignment with industry best practices.
- Drive and maintain ideal medical expense ratios, ensuring profitability goals are met.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and clinical leadership.
- Prioritize tasks effectively across multiple conflicting targets, ensuring business objectives are met.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve profitability of underperforming accounts.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate predictive data science models into underwriting processes.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the health insurance field, with a strong understanding of underwriting processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven track record of maintaining ideal medical expense ratios and improving account profitability.
- Strong data literacy and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with working alongside predictive data science models.
