1.) Business Development Executive

Job Location: Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Business: Industrial Automation / Instrumentation Services

Duties / Responsibilities


  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the industrial electrical installation market to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and work closely with the operations team to ensure fulfillment of agreed-upon services.
  • Proactively manage customer issues and concerns, working collaboratively with other departments to resolve them promptly.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Manage sales pipeline, document customer interactions, and generate sales reports for management review.

Requirements / Skills

  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation services.
  • Strong understanding of the electrical, automation, or electronics industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.

2.) Tendering & Project Engineer

Job Location: Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt - Rivers

Job Summary:

  • The Tendering and Project Engineer manages the tendering process and ensures the successful execution of awarded projects.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Analyze client requirements, specifications, and tender documents to prepare comprehensive and competitive bids.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to estimate materials, labor, and equipment costs, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
  • Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and technical support.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide engineering expertise during project execution, including troubleshooting and optimizing processes.
  • Ensure all tender and project activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid preparation and tendering processes within the oil and gas industry
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, tendering processes, and project lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software/tools.

Working Conditions

  • Salary: N350,000 per month.
  • The role involves occasional travel for client meetings, site visits, or industry conferences.
  • Flexible working hours may be required to meet bid submission deadlines.

  • The Dredging Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and supervising dredging operations to ensure efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant execution.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Design dredging methodologies, including equipment selection, sediment handling, and disposal plans.
  • Oversee dredging activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
  • Monitor the performance of dredgers, pumps, and related equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor dredging output and efficiency, making adjustments to optimize operations.

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Marine Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in dredging operations, project management, or marine construction.
  • Knowledge of dredging equipment, techniques, and sediment management.
  • Familiarity with hydrographic surveys and dredging software
  • Experience in planning, budgeting, and executing large-scale dredging projects.

Salary
N700,000 / month.
