Big Cabal Media is a company creating a new generation of media brands for a new generation of Africans. Since 2014, we’ve launched TechCabal - the largest technology site in Nigeria.

Big Cabal is in places intense and in others relaxed.  We're very driven about getting the results we want; the rest isn't as important. We're a very digital company - all our communications are in Slack, we use Google Docs for practically everything and don't like meetings.  Some of our team works remotely.  We typically try to arrange work between 9am and 5pm WAT and encourage you to have a good work-life balance but that's also very flexible. What we're not flexible about is quality and results. Get things done well and fast and all is well with the world.

Job Title: Operations & Finance Lead

Location: Lagos
Job Type: fulltime role

Responsibilities

  • This individual will be responsible for handling operational & finance issues managing operational issues for the company handling basic finance issues and liaising with external accounting & finance teams

The person must be:

  • Highly-organised, presentable and a good communicator
  • Strong command of excel, word and powerpoint
  • Work experience in a similar role preferable
  • Able to work under pressure and quick deadlines
