Easypay is a utility service provider in the business of providing payment solutions, payment applications and services for Electricity and other utility companies. Easypay currently fully handles cash office management for PHED with a customer base numbering over a million across Rivers, Cross River, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom states. We have also established over 600 agent locations across these four states and through this, customers have greater access to convenient payments.

Job Position: Operations Manager

Job Location: Jos, Plateau
Reporting Line: Chief Operating Officer
Interfacing: Audit, Finance, Operations & HR Department


Job Brief

  • We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of operations Staff, cash offices and Agents
  • The Operations Manager’s responsibilities include designing policies, overseeing cash centers, areas of operations, and customer service, and deploying our Product technology solutions.
  • You should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business. If you’re also committed to productivity and compliance, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for ensuring that the Company establishes and maintains an effective and efficient operations.It also includes:

  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day collections in the State.
  • Compile and report ALL POS &Tablet transactions for all BPOs and Clearing cashiers).
  • Coordinate and supervise the Operations unit.
  • Investigate and promptly report All technical and IT-related tablet/platform issues to the appropriate channels for immediate resolution.
  • Implement and manage operations plans, processes, and procedures
  • Involve in budget planning and financial analysis of the organization’s Operations in the State.
  • Oversee inventory and distribution of organizational resources/products to team members.
  • Directly manage Cashiers and Clearing Cashiers and provide managerial support in the day-to-day affairs of operations.
  • Collate and submit all operations reports
  • Provide hands-on support to all operational strategies to drive accountability, revenue collection, and increase profitability base.
  • Channel All feedback to reporting and interfacing lines.
  • Deal with day-to-day operational issues, investigate and report All human work-related issues to the appropriate lines for prompt actions.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in an area of specialty and 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Proven work experience in operations or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to take quick decisions while working independently
  • Ability to identify and resolve all discrepancies as soon as they arise.
