Job Position: Planning and Control Technician
Job Location: Kano
Employment Type: Part-time

Function Mission

• Execute activities inherent to planning and control area, according with the organization’s strategic lines and regulatory frame in force, to guarantee the compliance of the activity plan established and contribute to the business results.

Responsibilities

• Execute the activities underlying to the planning and control area and provision of an effective technical support.
• Follow-up and monitor the work activities, in economic and deadline terms to guarantee the proper operation of the work and compliance of production goals established.
• Support in the preparation and execution of balance sheet analysis maps of production.
• Collect, analyze and systematize the required analytical information for the area’s performance evaluation;
• Consolidate and prepare the support data to the report and monitoring of the area activity to provide, on one hand, timely information, strict, reliable of support to the analysis and decision making and on the other hand, in the identification and implication of improvement actions.
• Cooperate in the execution of work programs with the work manager, analyzing the programming of resources assigned to each work, the work amounts foreseen, as well as execution deadlines, based on the project and implemented planning techniques to guarantee the compliance of the activities plan.
• Cooperate in the execution of the economic planning and deadlines together with work manager and monthly update of plans, analysis of possible deviations and identification of corrective measures.
• Consolidate and prepare the support data to the report and monitoring of the area activity to provide, on one hand, timely information, strict, reliable of support to the analysis and decision making and on the other hand, in the identification and implication of improvement actions.

Education

• Basic training in Civil Engineering.

Professional experience:

• 5-6 years in Planning and Control

Computer Competencies and Skills:
Work Plan Management Software:

• Be proficient in developing and managing project schedules, using software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Work Plan Reports Software:

• Be proficient in developing and managing graphical reports using PowerBi and Office Package.
