We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

• The role of the Procurement Officer is to provide administrative support in procuring high quality and costefficient goods and services supplies for the organisation.

Essential Functions

• Processing of all procurement requests (Admin, Civil, Technical)
• Ensuring good buyer-supplier interface
• Maintaining database and invoice trackers of registered vendors
• Reconciling any discrepancies between POs and Invoices (vendor, suppliers, service providers)
• Providing logistics support for items to be delivered to offices
• Generating Purchase Orders for all requisitions
• Issuing of Purchase Orders to vendors, suppliers and service providers
• Completing PO correspondences with vendors, suppliers and service providers
• Completing documentation including invoices for Finance Payment
• Managing vendor contracts
• Filing and document management.

Qualifications
Educational Level:

• Degree in Social Sciences / Procurement
• Master Degree will be an added advantage
• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management.

Working Experience:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of procurement experience.
• Experience in Telecoms Industry is an added advantage
• Experience using Procurement Software.

Skills / Abilities:

• Computer skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Microsoft Navision experience.
• Must be versatile in major procurement processes and activities.
• Good communication skills (Verbal and written).
• Strong Team player.
