Job Position: Product Marketing Manager

Job Summary
- The product marketing manager is responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales.
- The goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products.
- The PMM will liaise between the product and audiences, including sales, marketing, customers, and prospects through different marketing channels as identified and approved for the purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute best-in-class go-to-market strategies and campaigns to support new product launches and drive growth for the business
- Create and manage marketing budgets, plans and strategies.
- Follow and analyze market trends to position products.
- Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies across all marketing channels.
- Researching the market to learn the competitive environment.
- Working with the marketing team to create materials that highlight product features and benefits.
- Working with product management to define goals and metrics for the product launch.
- Build relationships with 3rd parties to maximize marketing opportunities.
- Manage and update the relevant sections of the organization’s website and social media pages, ensuring the quality and updated content
- Oversee the execution of targeted and effective email marketing campaigns, using triggers and automation.
- Support brand and community manager to ensure audience and engagement growth on social media in line with KPIs.
- Oversee the creation of offline collateral, including brochures and flyers, from copy through to distribution.
- Research, oversee and evaluate direct marketing campaigns (offline and digital), including working with sales teams for follow up and campaign metric reporting.
- Perform monthly gathering of data to feed into reports evaluating marketing campaigns and optimizing effectiveness.
- Shortening the sales cycle, cutting down on customer returns and trials that don’t convert, and successful expansion into new target markets.
- Develop product messaging that differentiates new products and services from others in the market
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communication or related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in branding, corporate communications, advertising, digital/social media marketing or media buying.
- Proven experience in managing a brand (Knowledge in the financial sector would be an added advantage).
- Plan Strategies and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market.
- Must have solid understanding of consumer insights and needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities
