Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our team.
- The PMO will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion.
- This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity of project goals, expectations, and deliverables.
Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to support project objectives and meet deadlines.
- Track resource utilization and identify opportunities for optimization or reallocation.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project execution and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Proactively monitor and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, taking appropriate actions to minimize impact.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular progress reports and status updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and change requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software Primavera
- PMP certification is a plus.
