Job Position: Public Relations Consultant

Job Description

• We are seeking a result oriented and highly skilled Public Relations Consultant to join our team and help us enhance our reputation, communicate effectively with our stakeholders, and promote our mission and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic public relations plans to increase the Institute's visibility and influence.
• Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage.
• Organize and coordinate events, conferences, and webinars to promote the Institute's work.
• Respond to media inquiries and prepare spokespeople for interviews and public appearances.
• Create and distribute press releases, news stories, and other materials to the media.
• Manage the Institute's social media presence and engage with the online community.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in public relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Public Relations Consultant or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent media relations and networking abilities.
• Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing.
• Knowledge of the information management field is a plus.
