Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Location: Rivers

Job Brief

  • The Procurement Officer is responsible for implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Liaises with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
  • Monitor’s business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
  • Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
  • Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
  • Research new products and services to meet company's goals
  • Preparing procurement reports
  • Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track inventory, and the supply of goods.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. Degree or HND in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Applied Science, or a Related Field,
  • Membership with CIPS
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications

Skills / Requirements:

  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
  • Experience in collecting and analysing data

Job Position: Marketing Officer

Job Location: Rivers

Job Brief

  • The Marketing officer is responsible for all marketing strategies and activities within the company providing feedback on major projects, budgeting, branding, and sales. Works with other company officers to set the overall direction and objectives for service offering.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of publicity materials
  • Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups
  • Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Organise a calendar of marketing events, such as dinners, promotions, exhibitions, and workshops
  • Represent the company at events
  • Develop and communicate through the organisation’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Coordinate with outside agencies, for example designers, to produce marketing material such as stationery and web pages
  • Analyse the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports
  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with customers
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Launch optimized online adverts to increase company and brand awareness
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and liaise with website administrator
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up to date

Job Location: Rivers

Job Summary

  • The Executive Driver shall be responsible in ensuring all equipment, personnel, tools, materials, etc. are transported in a safe and timely manner to its destination

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule vehicle movement
  • Follow the journey management
  • Ensure adequate safety precautions are taken prior to any job.
  • Report accidents, incidents and near misses immediately to the Manager.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
  • Make sure that the regular maintenance of the designated vehicle is carried out on due date.
  • Coordinate with Administration to renew statutory registration of the designated vehicle on due date.
  • Perform daily maintenance prescribed in the maintenance manual and record the maintenance file.
  • Maintain good and healthy relations among the superiors and colleague

Qualifications

  • SSCE, NCE
  • Proven experience as a Driver
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A clean driving records
  • Certificate in defensive driving is an advantage

Requirements:

  • Must understand road traffic rules and regulations.
  • A polite and professional disposition
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
  • Planning and efficiency
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
