The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) supports the US President's Malaria Initiative's (PMI) goal of significantly reducing deaths from malaria in high burden African countries. Social and behavior change communication (SBCC) activities ensure Nigerians are aware of, understand, and play their part in the national goal of malaria elimination. HC3 Nigeria is working with the National Malaria Elimination Program (NMEP) and partnering organizations to ensure SBCC activities achieve scale and intensity throughout the country. With over 177 million people to reach, Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa. Interventions introduced have to achieve impact with a combination of wide reach and intense interpersonal communication activity.


We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Receptionist, USAID H3C Nigeria Project Funded by PMI

Location:
 Nigeria
Supervision: Administrative and Human Resources Officer will supervise the Receptionist

Summary

  • The Receptionist for HC3 Nigeria is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and directing visitors appropriately; notifying project personnel of visitor arrival; setting up conferences and meetings and assisting with office logistics as needed..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answer or refer inquiries.
  • Direct visitors by maintaining an employee directory; give instructions.
  • Maintain security by following procedures by monitoring the guest
  • logbook and issuing visitor badges.
  • Answer and forward phone calls as needed.
  • Maintain safe and clean reception area.

Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills Microsoft Office skills in Word and Excel
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required.
  • Written and spoken fluency in at least one Nigerian language required.
