Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage their financial operations and ensure the smooth financial running of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee all financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support management decision-making.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end closing activities.
• Monitor and manage the restaurant’s budget, including tracking expenses and revenue.
• Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Handle tax preparation, filing, and compliance.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and refine financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
NGN 170,000 / Month.
