Revenue Mobilization Lead at Ikeja Electricity Distribution Plc
Ikeja Electricity Distribution Plc, Nigeria's largest power distribution network, came into existence on November 1st, 2013 following the handover of the defunct Power Holding Company Of Nigeria (PHCN) to NEDC/ KEPCO Consortium under the privatization scheme of the Federal Government.
The consortium has the Korean Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) which generates about 84,000MW in capacity and has a global efficiency record of a maximum down time period of slightly above three minutes annually as technical partners.
This partnership has positioned IE to effectively drive its commitment to deliver efficient and sustainable power supply through investments in new technology, infrastructure upgrade and human capital development.
Position: Revenue Mobilization Lead
B. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with reducing collection losses within the organization
- Assist with reviewing and developing strategies for increasing collection
- Assist with ensuring revenue mobilization resources are adequate and effective in driving collection
- Periodic review of targets set for each Business Unit and Undertakings
- Periodic assessment and review of all payment channels across the network
- Review, assessment and monitoring of disconnection activities within the network
- Ensuring Business Units and Undertakings possess the right reports required to drive collection
- Assist with developing and implementing a robust debt recovery strategy
- Monitoring and assessment of debtor profile and behavior
- Identify collection gaps and recommend strategies for mitigating collection risks
C. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
· Usage of Relevant Revenue Assurance Software
· Analytics and Report Writing Skills.
· Good Communication Skills
· Knowledge of NERC/collections regulations and guidelines
· Self-motivated with ability to lead and take ownership and responsibility
· Ability to multi-task, work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
· Fast learner, energetic and enthusiastic
· Adaptable to flexible business demand
D. PERSONAL QUALITIES

E. . EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years working experience (commercial experience is an added advantage)
- Prior working experience in a utility company
- BSc in any of Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering field. Professional qualification is desirable
- Age: Not more than 40 years
