M+Azeezco International Limited - We are an established Agricultural produce Export, Warehousing and Logistics company operating in Lagos State, Nigeria, for over 25 years.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Senior Account Officer
Job Location: Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile all financial records for export transactions
• Prepare financial statements and management reports on export performance
• Reconcile export proceeds and manage foreign exchange documentation (Form NXP, domiciliary accounts)
• Compute the cost of goods sold (COGS) for farm produce export
• Monitor stock valuation and reconcile physical inventory with records
• Verify export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
• Prepare and monitor annual and monthly warehouse budget
• Implement internal financial control and support audit processes
• Supervise junior accounting staff and coordinate with warehouse, export, logistics and procurement teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICAN or ACCA is an advantage)
• 4 - 6 years of accounting experience, with any experience working in agribusiness as a big advantage
• Sound knowledge of export documentation
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills
• High integrity, attention to detail and accountability.
