Job Position: Senior Software Developer

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking to engage a Senior Software Developer to build and implement functional programs.
• At FPG Technologies and Solutions Limited, you will be working with the Technical Team, other Developers, Designers, Product Managers and Testers throughout the Software Development life cycle.
• In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
• Produce clean, efficient codes based on specifications 
• Integrate software components and third- party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software 
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting 

Job Requirements

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field 
• At least 5 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or  similar role
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies 
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g Java Springboot mandatory) and Framework /systems (e.g Angular,NodesJS)
• Experience and knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies - Microservices( Preferred), Microsoft Azure ( Preferred), Git ( Preferred), Nestjs ( Optional)
• Test Driven Development
• Continuous Integration and Delivery ( CI/CD) with Jenkins 
• GIT - Preferred 
• Nestjs- Optional
• Reourcefulness and Troubleshooting attitude.
