Job Description

• We are seeking a motivated Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Entry Level Civil Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the estimation and inspection processes of structural projects, with a focus on roofing solutions.
• This position offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to innovative projects in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed estimations for structural projects, including Stone Coated Roofing Sheets and Steel long-span structures, to determine material and labor costs.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop accurate cost estimates and proposals for potential projects.
• Perform inspections of construction sites to assess project progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Generate inspection reports detailing findings, recommendations, and any necessary corrective actions.
• Assist in the coordination of inspections with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Utilize industry-standard software and tools to facilitate the estimation and inspection processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to perform detailed estimations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies during inspections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for estimation and reporting.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or construction industry, with exposure to estimation and inspection processes.
• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and terminology.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Certification or training in estimation and/or inspection processes.
