Job Position: Social Media Officer

Job Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
• Identify target audience segments and tailor social media campaigns to effectively reach and engage them.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to ensure our strategy remains current and effective.
• Content Creation and Management:
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, escalating issues as necessary and providing timely resolutions.
• Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and sentiment.
• Prepare regular reports summarizing performance, trends, and the effectiveness of social media initiatives.
• Create engaging, high-quality content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and infographics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather content.
• Schedule and publish contents across various social media channels, using social media management tools to optimize reach and engagement.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms promptly and professionally.
• Engage with our audience, build relationships, and encourage positive interactions and discussions.
• Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, bloggers, and industry partners to expand our reach and drive brand advocacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Social Media Officer or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative and visual storytelling abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is desirable.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
