Objectives of this Role

• Grow existing platform and network capabilities to handle massive growth, enabling the generation of insights and data products on all internal and external data via self-serve computing, reporting solutions, and interactive querying
• Visualize, design, and develop creative and innovative software platforms
• Create scalable software platforms and applications, and efficient networking solutions that are unit tested, code reviewed, and checked regularly for continuous integration
• Examine existing systems, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve service uptime and time-to-resolve through monitoring and automated remediation
• Plan and execute full software development life cycles (SDLC) for each assigned project, adhering to company standards and expectations

Responsibilities

• Design User experience and User Interface
• Use HTML/CSS/JavaScript and other tools to bring design and wireframe interactions to life while supporting the smooth integration of back end code.
• Move between rapid prototyping of concept to create the initial coded expression of a solution, to participating in the build and delivery of solutions for production and the performance, scalability, security, and other factors enterprise applications demand
• Work closely with Back End Developers and Product Leads to deliver compelling web and mobile experiences for our clients and their users
• Work flexibly, proactively, and collaboratively with team members from multiple disciplines
• Present your work and communicate thought and reasoning behind it to all audiences, internal and external

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or information technology
• 2+ years JavaScript development skills (AngularJS, React, VueJS)
• Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming principles
• Rich interactions including HTML, CSS and JS animations, also content management systems
• Cross browser/platform/device development
• Proven experience designing interactive applications & Web application development experience with multiple frameworks
• Proven ability to document design processes, including development, tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
• Creative problem solver
• Desire to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities
