Job Summary

• We are looking for a Backend-focused Engineering Team Lead to join our Repayments product group; where progress, and humility are valued as highly as technical excellence.
• This is to ensure that the quality and prioritization for candidates that are a good match is unaffected by high volume processing.
• Common reasons for people being rejected are lack of seniority, no experience with C# and event driven Microservices / Azure or no relevant experience.
• Candidates are encouraged to re-apply for an appropriate role, our structure is typically as below and we do have comprehensive salary bandings to accommodate different levels of seniority that is overlaid with depth of experience. (although there are exceptions);
  • Backend Engineer 3 + yrs exp
  • Senior Backend Engineer 6+ yrs exp
  • Team Leader 8 + yrs exp
  • Staff Engineer 10 +
  • Engineering Manager 10+ (depth of experience is always assessed using a technical evaluation 3/5 hrs work).
