Job Position: Sourcing and Procurement Officer
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Sending RFPs (Request for proposals) to the approved OEMs
• Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
• Seeking and partnering with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Determining quality and timing of deliveries
• Monitoring and forecasting upcoming levels of demand
• Experienced in Sourcing and Inventory Management
• Communicating and negotiating with the vendors

Prerequisites

• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills
• Good communication and inter personal skills
• Hands-on experience with SCM software
• Ability to work with teams and build consensus
• Ability to resolve complex problems
• Self-directed, ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive attitude
